Wycombe came from behind to claim their first point of the season in a draw at Doncaster.

Billy Sharp pounced on an error at the back to give Rovers the lead early in the second half but substitute Armando Quitirna levelled for Wycombe.

Doncaster enjoyed the better of the first half and it took an outstretched leg from Anders Hagelskjaer to prevent Sharp from finding the bottom corner from 15 yards while a powerful strike from Robbie Gotts was kept out by the head of Jack Grimmer.

Wycombe's threat came on the break but they struggled to test Thimothee Lo-Tutala, other than a curling effort from Alex Lowry.

Rovers took the lead after 56 minutes when Sharp reacted to a poor touch from goalkeeper Mikki van Sas and slotted into an empty net.

Wycombe levelled in the 71st minute when Quitirna raced into a goalmouth scramble and showed good composure to fire home from eight yards.

The visitors looked the more likely to grab a late winner with Grimmer drawing a strong save from Lo-Tutala with a header.
