  4. 'Frustrating journey home for Barnet fans'published at 17:29 British Summer Time 16 August

    FT: Barnet 1-2 Walsall

    Marc Webber
BBC Final Score reporter at The Hive Stadium

Barnet fans will leave the game frustrated and perhaps angry at some of the decisions which denied them an equaliser.

The Walsall double whammy of goals in the first 22 minutes - the first by Conor Barrett just two minutes in - made you wonder whether this was going to be hard day for the home side.

But Barnet seemed to get a boost from losing Nnamdi Oborforth for his second yellow with over 35 minutes to go, and had the better chances after that decision. Showing, perhaps, despite having no points to speak of at this stage, the Bees still have a sting in their tail.

  5. 'Could this be another special campaign?'published at 17:24 British Summer Time 16 August

    FT: Bradford 2-1 Luton

    John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at Valley Parade

That’s a statement win by Bradford City.

It’s early days but the excellent summer recruitment - when they brought in a number of established League One calibre players - is making them look like a team that could compete for a play-off place this season.

One of the new boys, Stephen Humphreys, scored the opener which set up the victory, so he’s up and running. A fabulous atmosphere here today.

It was party time at the full-time whistle. The home fans believe that after promotion a few months ago, this could be yet another special campaign.

  6. 'A very unusual feeling'published at 17:23 British Summer Time 16 August

    FT: Blackpool 3-2 Huddersfield

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

At least we can say it is a very unusual feeling for the new version of Huddersfield Town this season.

They have suffered their first defeat of the campaign and their first loss under new manager Lee Grant.

We are rubbing our eyes in many ways, as it has come against a ten-man Blackpool side after Town scored the opening goal, which was the highlight of a dominant opening phase.

But somehow Blackpool where allowed to come in and turn it around completely.

  7. 'A fair result at Oakwell'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 16 August

    FT: Barnsley 1-1 Bolton

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio Sport at Oakwell Stadium

Barnsley did so well, for so long but just couldn't hold on! I really felt for Vinal Yoganathan but he could have no complaints for his second yellow, five minutes after David McGoldrick - cool when through on goal - had put Barnsley ahead.

Conor Hourihane's side were really impressive and still managed to create chances too, and for so long were actually top of the live League One table.

But Steven Schumacher rang the changes and John McAtee was there when they needed him, off the bench to poke home after corner-kick pinball.

Overall, it's a fair result from two sides who'll be in promotion contention come May. We're a long way from that, but a great game here at Oakwell.

  8. Crewe and Chesterfield meet at the apexpublished at 17:17 British Summer Time 16 August

MK Dons have flown into third after their impressive 5-0 drubbing of Cheltenham Town, who incidentally have sunk to the basement as a result.

The Robins are one of four teams to still be without a point this season alongside Crawley Town, Barnet and Bristol Rovers.

Meanwhile, both Chesterfield and Crewe Alexandra have won all three of their games to share the seat at the top of the table - can one of them pull away next week?

  9. For the first time in 30 years...published at 17:16 British Summer Time 16 August

    FT: Crewe 1-0 Crawley

    Graham McGarry
Crewe commentator for BBC Radio Stoke

It is the first time since the 1994-95 season that Crewe have won their opening three league games.

It is a terrific effort, with some good football in the first half which has seen them complete it

Stevenage manager Alex Revell looks at League One table with his side top of the pileImage source, Rex Features/Opta

Alex Revell's Stevenage are the only side to have won all three games and sit top of the pile, drink it in, Boro fans.

Dark days for Plymouth, Peterborough and Reading, who remain pointless at the foot of the table though Wycombe did pick up their first point of the season at Doncaster.

Huddersfield and Luton saw their perfect starts and unbeaten records end conceded their first goals of the campaign to boot.

Late, late drama in League Two.

Barrow have made it 2-1 against Notts County deep in stoppage time. Lewis Shipley with the goal.

    My word.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:58 British Summer Time 16 August

    Blackpool 3-2 Huddersfield

    What an extraordinary game.

Huddersfield went ahead through Ben Wiles after just four minutes, but Niall Ennis struck twice either side of a Lee Evans blockbuster to turn the game on its head - the first goals the Terriers had conceded this season.

Lynden Gooch lashed the visitors back into it before Ennis was sent off for a lunge on Jack Whatmough just 36 minutes in.

The first five shots on target were goals, but there were no more to follow after that.

The 10-men defended resolutely as Huddersfield piled on the pressure but without really opening up their hosts, but it's the Tangerines who are up and running in League One, while Huddersfield's perfect start comes to an end.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:57 British Summer Time 16 August

    Late drama in League Two.

Heartbreak for Barrow as Matthew Dennis equalises late on for Notts County to make it 1-1.

Similar story at Prenton Park as Gillingham's Joseph Gbode has made it 1-1 against Tranmere.

And at Blundell Park Kieran Green has put Grimsby 2-1 ahead against Newport.

    Crewe 1-0 Crawley

Tommi O'Reilly makes the difference to secure all three points for Crewe Alexandra.

Before the match, Crewe boss Lee Bell told his squad they had no where to hide if they didn't perform in training.

Well, there's no hiding place required for those who played this afternoon - they top the table.

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:54 British Summer Time 16 August

    Blackpool 3-2 Huddersfield

Alfie May tries his luck from just outside the box but his effort is too close to Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Town are heading for a first defeat against the 10-men of the Tangerines.
