  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:21 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

    Huge save!

Brilliant work from Idowu who has made a real difference since coming on.

He produces a double stepover then unleashes a strike from distance but Frederik Schram flies across his goal to parry it wide.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:20 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

Killie pile on the pressure as Frazer Murray catches a half volley perfectly.

But it's matched by a superb save from the Cercle keeper.

  4. Postpublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

Kevin Denkey, the man linked with a big money move across Europe, is replaced.

Another challenger fails to penetrate fortress Rugby Park. He is replaced by Bruninho.

  5. CLOSE!published at 21:13 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

    And... another one.

Mikael Mandron puts another big chance wide of the post for St Mirren from close range.

He and his strike partner Toyosi Olusanya are then immediately substituted for James Scott and Jonah Ayunga.

Manager Stephen Robinson must think they are jinxed.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

Kyle Vassell thought he'd put Kilmarnock ahead there.

Liam Polworth chipped the ball back in after a corner was cleared, and Vassell did brilliantly to clamber over his marker and power a header at goal.

Unfortunately for the skipper, it clipped the post and went wide.

I think there's a winner here for Killie.

The energy, purpose, belief - they look they believe they can get a winner.

  8. Balcombe brilliancepublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

    Andy Burke

What a curious game this is.

St Mirren have passed up any number of chances tonight - great chances at that - and yet their goalkeeper is a contender for man of the match so far.

Ellery Balcombe has pulled off a string of important saves and the latest one from Tryggvi Haraldsson's header was a beauty.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:08 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

Sorry for the cliche, but this is like a basketball match.

Ellery Balcombe produces another huge save to keep it at 0-0.

This time he produces a full-stretch stop to deny Tryggvi Haraldsson with a header from close range.

  11. CLOSE!published at 21:06 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

This is ridiculous now. Biggest chance of the match so far.

Roland Idowu does well to beat a couple of defenders and make his way into the Valur box.

He picks out Jaden Brown who, instead of shooting, pulls it back for Toyosi Olusanya.

Olusanya misses the ball, but it falls to kindly to Mikael Mandron who has two chances to score but misses on both occasions.

    Bonkers.

These Kilmarnock players must be feel they can win this first leg. They must feel it.

  13. Triple sub for Killiepublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

A debut for Bruce Anderson, who replaces goalscorer David Watson.

Fraser Murray and Liam Polworth are also on, with Matty Kennedy and Danny Armstrong replaced.

Some interesting changes there. Armstrong and Kennedy haven't maybe been quite as effective this half.

  14. Smyth makes way for Idowupublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

Second change of the match for St Mirren.

Debutant Roland Idowu replaces fellow debutant Oisin Smyth.

  15. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

    Aaaand it's into the wall.

The classic 'curse of the live texter'.

    That's a thing, right?

  16. Postpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 25 July

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Bruges

Kilmarnock have a free-kick in a fabulous area after Danny Armstrong is badly fouled by Abu Francis on the edge of the area.

Big chance here. Good spot for a left footer...

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:59 British Summer Time 25 July

    Valur 0-0 St Mirren

Another warning sign for the Buddies.

A quick Valur throw-in finds Patrick Pedersen who heads goalward but his right-footed effort is well saved by Ellery Balcombe.

It looks like Pederson goes for a nutmeg from the tight angle.

Balcombe is having an impressive debut here.

St Mirren are creating lots of chances but are giving up a few as well. They have to be careful.

Watson, you have to give him credit.

He doesn't know much about it, but who cares?

  20. goal

GOAL! Kilmarnock 1-1 Cercle Brugespublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 25 July

    David Watson

No idea who's scored it - but Killie are level!

It's a long throw into the box, which Kyle Vassell flicks on to the head of Watson, with the ball looping over the keeper.

Vassell is off celebrating, flexing his biceps. Watson is trying to convince his captain that it's in fact he who has scored.

    Those Killie fans won't care.
