Stevie May scored twice as Livingston moved to within two points of Scottish Championship leaders Falkirk with victory over bottom side Airdrieonians.

May scored from close range in the 35h minute after being set up by Tete Yengi.

Matthew Clarke headed in Reece McAlear's corner to double the Livi advantage and May nodded his second from Daniel Finlayson's delivery.

David Martindale's side host Ayr United on Saturday (15:00), when Falkirk are at home to Hamilton Academical.

Airdrie, who remain nine points adrift, play Partick Thistle at home at the same time while second-bottom Dunfermline Athletic visit Greenock Morton.
