And breathe... Another weekend, another fantastic barrage of EFL entertainment.

It's Lincoln who will be singing the Blues tonight after their loss to Birmingham sees Chris Davies' side end the day on top of League One.

Cambridge United got their first win of the season and in League Two, Port Vale stay top as the congested chasing pack swap positions once more.

That's us done for the day, but if for any reason today's action didn't quite quench your EFL thirst, fear not because the games are coming thick and fast.

First up, we've got a Championship clash between Hull City and high-flying Sunderland tomorrow afternoon.

Then in midweek, we go again with a full round of fixtures across all three divisions. Lovely stuff and we will of course be bringing live coverage to you for all of it.

So with that in mind, we will catch you very soon!

Carlisle United may have only earned a point in their 1-1 draw with Harrogate but it's enough to lift them from bottom place.

It's now occupied by Morecambe, who couldn't consolidate their first win of the season last week against a solid MK Dons side.

Meanwhile, Accrington Stanley leapfrog Colchester, Swindon and Bromley as their win streak continues for a third successive league game while Newport enter the bottom 10 after a third loss in a row.

Cambridge United are off the bottom after picking up their first win of the season at the 10th time of asking as they beat Wigan 2-0.

Burton Albion are now the only side in the EFL without a victory and are rooted to the foot of the table.

Crawley Town were hammered 4-1 at Reading earlier today and Shrewsbury lost 2-0 at home to Exeter on Thursday, meaning they both stay in the relegation zone.

Northampton picked up a vital three points against fellow strugglers Leyton Orient to move above them into 19th.

There were defeats today for Bristol Rovers, Rotherham and Peterborough who make up the rest of the bottom 10.

Last week, the only team in the top six to take all three points was Port Vale, taking them all the way to the top. A place they still occupy after extending their unbeaten run to nine games with a 3-1 win over Fleetwood Town.

Not so much the case this week. Doncaster hold their own against Swindon to keep themselves in second place, just one point behind Port Vale.

Walsall's huge 4-1 win over Grimsby sees them rise back to number three above Notts County, who also won but in slightly less dazzling fashion with a 1-0 victory over Wimbledon.

Bradford City's excellent run of form sees them enter the battlefield of promotion contenders to reach fifth place while Barrow drops to seventh after their second successive league loss.

Meanwhile, Gillingham continue to tumble down the table, finding themselves in sixth after a four match losing streak.
