Ryan Barnett - who else? - puts in a cross from right and Paul Mullin picks it up on the volley. Rotherham are stunned.

The quick start puts Wrexham on top of the table with Birmingham City a goal down at Sincil Bank.

Third place Mansfield Town host Stevenage as they aim to take top spot should Birmingham and Wrexham falter, while down at the other end of the table 20th place Northampton Town and 19th place Leyton Orient battle it out at Sixfields Stadium.

Bottom place and winless Cambridge Athletic take on Wigan Athletic as Bristol Rovers take a trip up to Huddersfield Town.

Bolton Wanderers will try to extend their unbeaten streak to five while visiting team Burton Albion will try to avoid a fifth-straight defeat.

Meanwhile, Blackpool will be without manager Steve Bruce following the passing of his four-month-old grandson as they host Barnsley.

    Rotherham v Wrexham

2007 marked the last time these two teams met and in that year, Rotherham came out 3-0 victors against a 10-man Wrexham team in front of 3,773 spectators.

Seven years later, Wrexham will be looking to reap their revenge.

The Red Dragons have only lost two games so far in their return to League One and are now second on the table, level on points with Mansfield Town.

Though both those defeats came in away fixtures - to leaders Birmingham and midtable Stevenage, respectively - and despite a shaky start, Rotherham are now aiming to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

Can Wrexham finally get one back on the Millers after a long wait or will time stand still as Rotherham continue their red hot spell?

Charlton ended a run of three straight losses in the best way possible by inflicting a first league defeat of the season on leaders Birmingham City at The Valley last time out two weeks ago.

The visitors this time are Stockport who themselves have only won one of their last six since winning their first three games of the season.

But County have only tasted defeat once so far and could climb into the play-off spots with a win.

The Addicks have won all four of their last meetings with Stockport and have also only lost one of their previous 12 home league games (W5, D6).

There's plenty up for grabs in south-east London this afternoon...

It’s been a long two-week wait for League One leaders Birmingham City since they suffered their first defeat of the season away at Charlton Athletic on October 5.

Things won't get any easier today with a tough trip to sixth-placed Lincoln City who have also lost just one game all season so far.

Blues are looking to stay at the top but only a victory may keep them there with Wrexham, Wycombe and Mansfield just two points behind.

The Imps are unbeaten in their past seven matches since a 2-1 defeat at home to Barnsley in their second game of the season and could close the gap to Birmingham to one point with victory.

This afternoon's meeting will be the first time these two sides have played each other since a League Cup tie in September 2004, which Birmingham won 3-1.

Safe to say it's a pretty important first encounter for 20 years...

Walsall will be hoping to fend off Grimsby Town as they look to reclaim top spot.

It's a battle between 19th and 20th place as Tranmere Rovers visit Bromley.

Bottom place Carlisle United will be seeking a third win of the season against Harrogate Town while Cheltenham look to stop the rot to prevent a third straight league defeat as they visit Colchester.

Morecambe aim to back up their first win of the season with another over MK Dons as Crewe Alexander host Salford City.

    Andy CookImage source, Rex Features

Bradford have the chance to make it three league wins on the bounce after League Two top scorer Andy Cook’s brace against his former club Tranmere last Saturday ensured a 2-0 win.

Cook who celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday has now scored four goals in his last four league games and has the chance to score his 80th for the Bantams today.

Graham Alexander’s side are unbeaten across their last eight home league games (W6 D2) and will be looking to record three wins in a row against Gillingham for the first time.

After a promising start stuttering Gillingham travel to Valley Parade on the back of three successive defeats.

They have failed to win any of their last five away league games against Bradford (D3 L2) since a 2-1 victory in 2015.

The Gills have won just two of their last eight away league games (D1 L5), netting just four goals in total whilst failing to score more than once in any of those matches.

An intriguing game in prospect then as Mark Bonner looks to get his side back on track again at the top end of League Two.

  11. Vale aim to keep hold of top spotpublished at 14:41 British Summer Time 19 October

Port Vale v Fleetwood (15:00 BST)

    Darren MooreImage source, Rex Features

Port Vale were the new league leaders and made it seven league games unbeaten after last Saturday’s win over MK Dons as we saw changes once again in the top end of League Two.

In what is arguably the most entertaining division in the country right now, given how tight things are, just one point separate Vale and second-placed Doncaster Rovers and just three down to Grimsby Town in ninth.

Darren Moore's side go into this on the back of two wins on the spin. They are unbeaten across their last three league games at Vale Park (W2 D1) and will be looking to go four unbeaten on home soil for the first time since April 2022.

Fleetwood are a side also in decent form having lost just one of their last 11 league games.

Charlie Adam's Cod Army are unbeaten in their last five league games with two of those being wins. They go into todays game on the back of a 3-0 win over Borrow in the EFL Trophy while their last league game was a 6-2 win over Walsall on 1 October.

    Reading 4-1 Crawley

A huge three points for Reading and the convincing nature of the victory lifts them from 17th up to eighth in the League One table, above Charlton on goal difference, who face Stockport this afternoon.

Lewis Wing's stunning effort from 35 yards put the Royals in front five minutes before half-time after Amadou Mbengue's fine opener was cancelled out by Harry Forster's deflected strike.

Crawley dominated the first 20 minutes of the second-half but fell further behind against the run of play when Charlie Savage lifted in from range after goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott came out to challenge and was left stranded.

Sam Smith finished things off with an excellent first touch and composed finish after Wing's clever clipped pass over the top.

Delight for Ruben Selles, while Rob Elliot has suffered defeat in his first three games in charge and Crawley remain in 22nd place in the relegation zone.

    Wycombe 3-1 Peterborough

Wycombe substitute Richard Kone's nine minute hat-trick rips Peterborough apart as the Chairboys climb closer to the top with their impressive unbeaten streak.

It looked like Peterborough were in to put in a big shift when Ricky-Jade Jones tapped the ball into the back of the net shortly after the second-half whistle but their joy was short-lived.

Wycombe made a change, put on Richard Kone and it was over. Within 10 minutes, the forward had his hat-trick and Peterborough had lost a player when Emmanuel Fernandez foolishly got caught out for a handball.

Peterborough had great spells throughout the match but couldn't keep consistent as they saw yet another lead fall out of their grasp.

They will depart feeling disappointed in themselves while Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield leaves Adams Park to huge applause as they go eight games without defeat in League One.
