If we are to win this, Hannah has to save one or two like she did against Sweden. This could potentially be her moment and I hope it is.

I feel really confident that England have a great opportunity to win this on penalties. Spain haven't been in this situation.

I think one thing to remember is all the girls have practiced. They are not stepping up to the spot not knowing what they are going to do.

We really struggled to get out. Spain looked like the team who wanted to win it more [in extra time] but this is anyone's game now with penalties.

For only the second time in Women's Euros history, the final has gone to a penalty shootout.

Who will be putting their hands up for England?

They have already come through one penalty shootout at this tournament - against Sweden in the quarter-final. But it was in agonising fashion.

  13. England's shoot-out recordpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time

    England 1-1 Spain

England have taken part in four shoot-outs at major finals.

They lost their first two - against Sweden in the 1984 Euros final, and to France in the quarter-finals of the 2011 World Cup.

But they have triumphed in both shoot-outs under Sarina Wiegman. They beat Nigeria 4-2 at the 2023 World Cup in the round of 16 - and of course overcame Sweden, somehow, 3-2 in the quarter-finals of Euro 2025.

They also beat Brazil 4-2 on pens in the 2023 Finalissima at Wembley.

The foul is given against Michelle Agyemang and she can't believe it. Nor can Beth Mead or Sarina Wiegman on the touchline.

If you're wondering about Spain's penalty shoot-out record...

They have taken part in two in major tournaments, winning one and losing one.

Spain were beaten 5-3 on penalties by Austria in the quarter-finals of Euro 2017, but last summer beat Colombia in the last eight of the 2024 Olympics, 4-2.
