York hit back from two down to secure a 3-2 victory at Braintree in added-time and remain unbeaten in the National League.

Terrell Works put Braintree ahead on his debut after just four minutes. The 20-year-old joined on loan from Fulham ahead of kick-off and went straight into the line-up, making an immediate impression as he thrashed in from Chay Cooper's cross.

Works doubled his and Braintree's tally two minutes into the second half, firing low past Harrison Male.

York's Alex Hunt scored his third goal of the week as he struck a superb free-kick into the top corner on 54 minutes to halve the deficit.

Four minutes later Hunt struck the post from another free-kick but York did get their equaliser on 76 minutes as Joe Grey headed in from Joe Felix's cross.

And the Minstermen took all three points in added time as Ollie Pearce converted a penalty.
