Sivert Nilsen is at fault for a foul on Kenneth Vargas and Hearts have the chance to win it late on.

  2. Postpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

That is heroic from Graeme Shinnie.

Kenneth Vargas hares into the box, completely free of any Aberdeen defender, but his shot is blocked as the home midfielder comes from nowhere to get a foot in front of the ball and deny an opening goal.

  3. Late double Rangers changepublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time

Rangers withdraw Danilo, who has been down receiving treatment for what looked like cramp, and Ridvan Yilmaz.

This is the worst game I've seen this season.

  5. Wishful thinking?published at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Willie Miller

You just wonder if you're going to see any real quality and if you're going to see the the deadlock broken.

  6. Double Hearts changepublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Hearts boss Neil Critchley is going for it. Blair Spittal and Beni Baningime are off, with forward-looking midfielder Yan Dhanda and striker Kenneth Vargas coming on.

The 17-year-old James Wilson stays on, despite looking exhausted up front.

  7. Postpublished at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Shayden Morris is picked out brilliantly by Jamie McGrath on the right. The Aberdeen winger squares up Jamie McCart and fires at goal, but it can only ripple the side netting.

Should he have been on earlier?

  8. Clement wants final whistlepublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 3-1 St Johnstone

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

I think Philippe Clement is just counting the minutes now.

Not because they are under huge pressure, but if St Johnstone get a second goal, it would be a nervous ending.

I think that's where the Rangers manager is at. He just wants to put this game to bed and prepare for Wednesday against Aberdeen.

  9. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 3-1 St Johnstone

St Johnstone substitute Graham Carey tests Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly at his near post after the winger cuts inside on to his trusty left foot.

Maybe this game isn't quite over yet.

  10. Hearts more likely?published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

Up to this point, Hearts have been the better team, created better opportunities and it looks more likely that, if there is to be a winner of this game, it will be them.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

James Wilson picks up a loose ball and fires a cross to strike partner Elton Kabangu, who takes a touch six yards out and goes down!

It's not a penalty, and Hearts fans can't believe their new signing hasn't tried to shoot.

  12. Changes at Ibroxpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 3-1 St Johnstone

Rangers withdraw the tiring Ianis Hagi and winger Ross McCausland comes on.

For St Johnstone, Fran Franczak and Benjamin Kimpioka make way and winger Graham Carey and former Rangers youth forward Josh McPake enter the fray.

  13. Quiet Okkels debut endspublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Shayden Morris is coming on for the hosts, with Jeppe Okkels coming off. The winger, on his debut, has had a very quiet day.

Instead, it has been Topi Keskinen who has threatened, although the Finnish winger has also had a quiet second half.

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

Elton Kabangu already looks a real handful up front for Hearts.

The Belgian appears to have a real presence. Very encouraging early signs from their new recruit.

The Aberdeen rearguard now have plenty to think about.

  15. Postpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Aberdeen break up the pitch, but Craig Halkett does well to sprint back and block the ball.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Off the post!

Jamie McCart's back-post header smacks the woodwork. It comes back to Elton Kabangu, but his fellow new Hearts signing's shot is blocked by a barrage of red bodies.

  18. Postpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian
