  1. 'Scary Saints'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

They are so all over the place. They're playing a back five, but they've only got one back and it's Jack Sanders.

He starts panicking and sets up Mohamed Diomande to head it in.

Far too easy and far too self-inflicted. It's incredible what I'm watching here today.

St Johnstone are so out of position. It's scary.

  2. 'Big opportunity for Aberdeen'published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

It's a big opportunity for Aberdeen.

He's way off balance as he's swiping at it with his right foot.

    Needs much more composure.

  3. Misses at both endspublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    How have Hearts not scored?

James Penrice's cross is nodded toward goal by Musa Drammeh. It's blocked by Sivert Nilsen but comes to Jorge Grant.

The midfielder fluffs his volley, but it comes to James Wilson, who then fluffs his effort too.

Aberdeen go straight up the pitch, where Topi Keskinen races through on goal, but the winger slices his left-footed effort well wide.

  4. goal

GOAL Rangers 3-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    Mohamed Diomande

Three goals in nine minutes and St Johnstone have been blown away!

It's a disaster for Jack Sanders, whose attempted headed clearance drops just in front for Mohamed Diomande to nod his fourth goal of the campaign.

In fairness to Sanders, there may have been a lack of understanding with his new team-mate Andy Fisher in goal but Saints' task now looks even more daunting, not just today, but this season.

  5. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 2-0 St Johnstone

More Rangers pressure as Vaclav Cerny and Hamza Igamane combine on the right of the box and the latter's shot is deflected out.

  6. 'Far too easy for Rangers'published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 2-0 St Johnstone

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

It all comes down to Robin Propper's tackle, when he robs Nicky Clark.

This is how open St Johnstone are. When they try to play out from the back, if they lose it, they're wide open!

    Far too easy.

  7. goal

GOAL Rangers 2-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Vaclav Cerny

Game over already for sorry Saints? Just when they were starting to gain a foothold, Rangers double their lead.

Robin Propper's tackle on Nick Clark near halfway gets the ball to Danilo, whose defence-splitting pass finds Vaclav Cerny and the winger just nudges the ball round goalkeeper Andy Fisher.

Goal number nine of the season for Cerny.

  8. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 1-0 St Johnstone

Better from St Johnstone as they put the still unfamiliar Rangers defence under pressure with a few passes.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

James Penrice and Topi Keskinen race for the ball after it is hacked on by the Finnish winger toward the Hearts goal.

Both tumble to the floor on the edge of the box and the Aberdeen fans cry for a penalty. There is a VAR check, but it's over quickly as play goes on.

  10. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

A little better from Hearts in the last minute or two. They're combining down the left well through Blair Spittal and James Penrice.

However, it's a lot sloppier on the right, where Daniel Oyegoke and Musa Drammeh are struggling to find each other.

  11. goal

GOAL Rangers 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hamza Igamane

That should ease that tension - and it is Hamza Igamane on target again!

St Johnstone switch off at a thrown-in as Vaclav Cerny receives the ball on the left, finds Mohamed Diomande inside and Igamane is waiting in the middle to apply the finish - the striker's 12th goal of the season.

  12. First sign of protestpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox Stadium

The Union Bears section of the Copland Stand has unfurled a message bemoaning the standards at the club, which they believe have fallen.

There was some muted applause and a smattering of boos at that.

You can sense an apathy around the stadium. It's down to those in blue to change that on the pitch.

  13. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Hamza Igamane in the thick of it again, this time turning a Jefte cross towards goal.

But debutant St Johnstone goalkeeper Andy Fisher is alert enough to make the save from the striker's first-time prod from 15 yards.

  14. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Strength shown by Aaron Essel as he prevents Hamza Igamane getting a clear run at goal. The Rangers forward was none too happy with the challenge, but there was no infringement there.

  15. 'Hearts are struggling'published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

Aberdeen's intensity is very high; the pressure is extremely good.

Hearts are really struggling. They can't keep possession and are giving it away rather needlessly.

  16. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

Neither side able to keep possession as the ball bobbles around the St Johnstone half.

Not too much intensity from the hosts as yet and Saints seem content to sit in and wait for the counter-attack.

  17. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Aberdeen midfielder James McGarry advances up the pitch and is allowed up to the edge of the penalty box before firing a shot just wide.

Hearts have made two accurate passes so far - after eight and a half minutes.

  18. Unusual fast Dons startpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

Aberdeen have generally been pretty slow starters in games so far this season.

That has not been the case here. They really have begun this game very much on the front foot.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aberdeen 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

It's been all Aberdeen and they get down the right this time. Topi Keskinen's cross hits Jamie McCart's outstretched foot and then hits him on the arm.

Huge shout for a penalty, and it did hit his arm, but that isn't a foul under the current rules. Play on.

  20. 'Rangers must do better against a back three'published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time

    Rangers 0-0 St Johnstone

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

    Good pressure from Rangers again.

They've got to show intent right from the start and get their full-backs and wide players up nice and early

Against a back three, they've got to do better in wide areas. They've really struggled the last three games.
