1. 'I won't be kissing the badge to win over the fans'published at 14:21 British Summer Time 5 April

Sheffield United v Chelsea (Sun, 17:30 BST)

    Chelsea

More from Mauricio Pochettino as he discusses his relationship with Chelsea's fans: "It's normal, I came from a different club and I need to convince. I play with my reputation to come here with a young team to build. For us, we knew there was a massive challenge to build a team, win games and take a risk with the fans.

"I said from the beginning I won't be kissing the badge to win over the fans. I want the team to win games and believe in ourselves and build a very good relationship. I'm not here to be a hypocrite and say I love the fans because I know it will take time to build a relationship."

  2. 'It's not fair but we are going to do it'published at 14:19 British Summer Time 5 April

Crystal Palace v Man City (Sat, 12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola ended his news conference by flat-batting a number of questions - about the hectic fixture schedule and potential changes in how the Premier League will deal with punishments for breaking its profit and sustainability rules.

On PSR he said: "I don't have opinion. What they decide is fine for me. I don't have an opinion."

On the fixture schedule: "We are used to it. For many years it happened that way. We take one game at a time and don't give up. We are used to playing every three days, every month. It's not that we are new to European competition. Players know it and they handle it, for the large part. They each know what they have to do.

"We play [Crystal Palace] at 12.30pm on a Saturday - perfect, more time to the next game against Real Madrid for us to recover. We then play Saturday in the FA Cup - OK, it's not fair but we are going to do it."

  3. 'When Foden plays more central, he'll score more goals'published at 14:16 British Summer Time 5 April

Crystal Palace v Man City (Sat, 12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on whether Phil Foden's goalscoring form is linked to his move to a more central position: "He can play in many different positions, I have said that many times. But if you want to score goals then you have to be close to the box. So when he plays in a more central position, he will score more goals. It is as simple as that."

Crystal Palace v Man City (Sat, 12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

More from Pep Guardiola on Saturday's opponents Crystal Palace: "They always have been tough. Oliver Glasner is doing a really good job. The quality is there, with good players and a good structure. They have a strong defence with Joachim Anderson leading a back five. That physicality always was there and Selhurst Park has always been a difficult place to go to - we know that."

  5. 'We have to win the eight games we have left and wait'published at 14:11 British Summer Time 5 April

Crystal Palace v Man City (Sat, 12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on how he is approaching the title race. They currently trail Liverpool by three points and Arsenal by one: "The quality of the opponent is why we have to keep going and at the end we will realise which team is there.

On whether he expects Liverpool and Arsenal to drop points: "I hope so but that does not solve our problem if we didn't do our job. We have to win the eight games we have left and wait. What we have to do is win our games. We only control our destiny in our games. That is all."

City have games at Palace, Tottenham, Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Fulham remaining, as well as home matches against Luton, Wolves and West Ham.

  6. Villa wait on Watkins' fitnesspublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 5 April

Aston Villa v Brentford (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport senior football news reporter

Boss Unai Emery will speak the media this afternoon ahead of the visit of Brentford on Saturday, looking to maintain Aston Villa's lead over Tottenham.

Spurs – who host Nottingham Forest on Sunday - are just two points behind fourth-placed Villa in the Premier League.

Tottenham have a game in hand, against Chelsea, and Villa’s lead is a delicate one with just seven matches left – including a trip to Arsenal and the visit of Liverpool.

Ollie Watkins’ fitness – with the England striker having missed Wednesday’s 4-1 defeat at Manchester City with a hamstring injury – is high on the agenda, although goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is expected to shrug off the illness which saw him pull out of the loss an hour before kick-off.

Skipper John McGinn is due to be available after serving his three-game ban for a red card against Spurs last month.

Aston Villa v Brentford (Sat, 15:00 BST)

Aston Villa have not finished as high as fifth since 1996-97 – when they beat Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday and Wimbledon to the top five.

After Manchester United’s dramatic 4-3 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, fourth-placed Villa are 11 points clear of Erik ten Hag’s sixth-placed side with seven games left, although United have a game in hand.

It is hard to see Unai Emery’s side blowing it from here, even if their focus is also on the Europa Conference League with Lille coming to town in the quarter-final first leg next week.

    Alex Howell
    BBC football news reporter

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is due to speak to the media ahead of tough game against defending champions Manchester City.

Glasner had a positive start as Palace boss with a win against Burnley but since then they have drawn twice and lost twice.

Glasner is still having to deal with injury problems although Michael Olise should be fit enough to be back in the Palace squad.

  9. Dropped points are 'getting very expensive'published at 14:02 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Manchester United

Finally from Erik ten Hag, here's the Manchester United manager on dropping points in defeat at Chelsea and a draw at Brentford, as his team bid to qualify for next season's Champions League: "This week we've dropped five points in stoppage time and it is very expensive. The points are getting very expensive because the games are running out. We know that and we have to catch up. We are now many points behind.

"It will be difficult and I am sure that you see in our team that they have character. They are resilient and I am sure they will be ready to be in the fight against Liverpool."

  10. We need to learn how to win games - Ten Hagpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag on dealing with setbacks: "For me personally? I have to manage the game and I have to manage the team. You have seen we have qualities. We have some great players.

"We can play at very high standards. We have seen that [against Chelsea] and against Liverpool. We can compete with the best and we can beat the best teams in the Premier League. And when you beat them in the Premier League, you can beat them across Europe.

"But we need to learn how to win games. How you bring - [Chelsea] was an example, Saturday [at Brentford] was an example - how you bring games over the line and get the three points. We have to step up and we have to make better decisions individually and as a team."

  11. Rashford's motivation should be high - Ten Hagpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Manchester United

More from Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag on Marcus Rashford's form and motivation, following Gary Neville's comments that he felt 'something wasn't right': “I think lately his form is progressing and so the time will always be right. I think he has a big motivation because he wants to be successful with us.

“He wants to score goals, he wants to win trophies and contribute, and we still have a chance in the FA Cup. He wants to fight for a Champions League spot and the Euros are coming so I will say his motivation should be high. Before Brentford he scored three goals in three games."

    Tottenham v Nott'm Forest (Sun, 18:00 BST)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Brazil forward Richarlison will miss Sunday's game with a knee injury.

He said: "Richy has had a bit of a niggle with his knee so we will probably give him the weekend off to get totally over it and hopefully be ready for Newcastle next week.

"Everyone else got through the game [at West Ham on Tuesday] well and are ready to go."

Manor Solomon, Fraser Forster and Ryan Sessegnon are recovering from long-term injuries and are unlikely to play again this season.

  13. Guardiola 'has to think' about Haaland & De Bruyne returnpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 5 April

Crystal Palace v Man City (Sat, 12:30 BST)

    Manchester City

A busy lunchtime continues with Pep Guardiola now speaking to the media too. The Manchester City manager says he does not yet know whether Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne will start Saturday's match after they were rested against Aston Villa in midweek.

"I don't know yet, we just played a couple of days ago. I have to think about that," said Guardiola.

He also confirmed that Nathan Ake and Kyle Walker will not feature, but had more positive news about goalkeeper Ederson, who has not played since being injured in last month's 1-1 draw at Liverpool.

"He's much better, maybe he is on the list," added the City boss.

  14. 'No-one expected him to perform like this'published at 13:48 British Summer Time 5 April

Sheff Utd v Chelsea (Sun, 17:30 BST)

    Chelsea

Boyhood Manchester United fan Cole Palmer scored a hat-trick against the Red Devils on Thursday and Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has just been speaking about how well he has done since joining Chelsea from Manchester City last summer: "It is not easy to talk, it is difficult to explain. Sometimes expectation plays a role in a player when they are young. I think when we signed him, no-one expected him to perform like this.

"For sure, we have talented players and they need time. We have a young team that needs to grow. This process is painful when you are not in a position the club is used to. The club want to build this new project. We know what we are doing but the process is not so fast."

  15. From anger you can take a lot of energy - Ten Hagpublished at 13:44 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Manchester United

Erik ten Hag on attempting to lead Manchester United to a third consecutive home win over Liverpool, but on the back of Thursday's 4-3 defeat at Chelsea: "We will see on Sunday. I have to say first that I have to deal with this (defeat at Chelsea), but we can’t deal with this long. We have to recover very quick.

"We have to turn this around. So from tomorrow we will be in a positive mood. We will be looking forward. We have to take energy but from anger you can take a lot of energy and that is how we have to do it."

  16. 'Support us in a positive way'published at 13:41 British Summer Time 5 April

    Manchester United

Now here's more from Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag on tragedy chanting after a fan was charged following last month's FA Cup win over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

"It’s very important," he said. "Be behind Manchester United, support us in a positive way. I think there is a fantastic bond between the team and the fans. They are always behind us.

"We saw two weeks ago in that game against Liverpool how much of an effect and an impact we can have in togetherness in a positive way. We are going for it again on Sunday in a positive mood at Old Trafford.”

  17. 'Someone said we have the best fixtures - I don't know about that'published at 13:38 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Liverpool

More from Jurgen Klopp on the Premier League title race: "That's how it is in the Premier League. When we won it, it was decided pretty early but most of the time it is a tight race.

"If it is, then the best thing you can do is be in it. We are, that's good, so we keep fighting.

"The next one is a big one, like they all are. Someone said we have the best fixture list [in the run-in] but I don't know how you can have that idea. It will be a tough one but we are ready. We want to be in that fight."

  18. 'United turned the game around'published at 13:35 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Liverpool

More from manager Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool's FA Cup loss at Old Trafford: "We were really good that day but we didn't finish the situations off. The good news is that we don't have 30 minutes more to play. That was not good for us. United turned the game around.

"They are a top side playing at home. Let's do what we did on minute 15 until 70-something. We will try to cause United problems and they will try exactly the same. I will miss probably all of them (when he steps down in the summer) but we will see how I deal with missing football."

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

The previous meeting between Manchester United and Liverpool three weeks ago was scarred by tragedy chanting from both sets of supporters.

United manager Erik ten Hag has used his programme notes ahead of Sunday's game to appeal for fans to stop.

"It is part of my duty to remind every supporter fortunate enough to be at today’s game that it must be enjoyed in the proper way, and not used as an excuse for abusing rival fans about Hillsborough, Heysel or any other historic tragedies," he said.

"This is one of the truly great rivalries in world sport, for so many of the right reasons, and it is our responsibility to keep it that way."

  20. 'Let's just show a bit of class, don't sing this or that'published at 13:31 British Summer Time 5 April

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on tragedy chanting: "It's super important. I don't hear it when I'm on the sideline. I heard after the game that it happened and that's obviously not great. In general, I think it's helpful that we educate our kids on respect and understanding, all of these type of things.

"I just see that two of the biggest football clubs in the world, let's just show a bit of class. Don't sing this or that. Have a fight on the football pitch. If we win or lose, that is fine, but have a bit of class, that is my wish for all of us."
