Queens Park Rangers lost 3-0 at home against Coventry City last season, last losing consecutive home league games against the Sky Blues between 2005 and 2007 (three in a row).
Following 2-0 and 3-0 wins over QPR last season, Coventry are looking for three consecutive league wins over the Hoops for the first time since November 2006.
QPR are without a win in eight league games at Loftus Road (D2 L6), and following a nine-game winless run between November 2022/January 2023, could be the first side since the start of last season in the Football League to have two different nine-game runs without a home win.
Coventry, who have drawn five of their last six league games (L1), have dropped more points from winning positions than any other Championship side in 2023-24 (9), two of which came last time out against Huddersfield.
Mark Robins is unbeaten against sides managed by Gareth Ainsworth in the Football League (P8 W7 D1); it’s his most games against another manager in the Football League without losing.
