There's a long way to go but manager Craig Harrison will take plenty from the first half hour of this game where his side have been under pressure, but haven't panicked.

Djurgardens are odds-on favourites and, as you'd expect, have seen lots of the ball.

But the Welsh side have kept their shape and discipline, and scrambled to defend lines when they've had too.

Plus, there's been the odd sign that TNS can cause them problems on the counter.

One step at a time, but so far, so good for Harrison - who you would guess would snap your gloved hand off for a point.,

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

A round of "Oh when the Saints go marching in" is interrupted by a Djurgarden penalty shout as striker Tobias Gulliksen hits the deck, but the referee waves play on.

At the other end, Josh Daniels crosses for right-back Ashley Baker who heads high and wide.

  3. Postpublished at 18:13 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

It's been pretty even so far in Germany with chances at both ends. The home side are enjoying a good spell and their fans can sense it.

  4. 'Worth an effort from Dewsbury-Hall'published at 18:12 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

It's good play again from Chelsea. Christopher Nkunku made the run and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall gets it on target. It was worth an effort and Kevin Muller had to make that save.

It's been Chelsea's difficult game so far, but they will want to keep their 100% record.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:12 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

Brilliant reaction save from Filip Jorgensen as Paul Wanner drives into space, looks up and gets a really good strike off with his left foot at the near post.

Best chance of the game but Jorgensen was equal to it.

  6. Postpublished at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

Wahey! TNS' Jordan Williams nutmegs an opponent and then fires in a low cross.

It's blocked, but tees up nicely for Daniel Williams who blasts one well over.

  7. Postpublished at 18:09 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

Oooooh. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall strikes the ball well from 18-yards out on the left-hand side and Kevin Muller does well to palm it away for a corner.

    Cercle Brugge 0-0 Hearts

Hearts forward Kenneth Vargas almost gets on the end of a bouncing through-ball, but the Brugge keeper flies out to clear.

Vargas looks keen to make amends tonight, having had to apologise to team mates this week following comments to the media criticising Scottish football and saying he would like to move on from Tynecastle.

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

All the noise is coming from the Djurgarden supporters, they haven't stopped singing in Shrewsbury.

On the pitch too the visitors are shading it. But no properly good chances just yet.

Craig Gordon will turn 42 on New Year's Eve. You would not believe it on this evidence, as he makes a fine low save to deny Felipe Augusto's angled shot.

Augusto is belatedly flagged offside, but Gordon was not to know that.

  11. Postpublished at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

Marc Guiu threatens to score again. He opens his body up to pick up the deflected ball and sweeps towards goal with his left foot but it's saved by the toes of Kevin Muller.

This is so far looking like one of Chelsea's tougher tests in the competition. It's certainly not got the makings of an 8-0.

Paul Wanner does well to pick up the ball and get the shot off but Filip Jorgensen makes the save.

  13. Postpublished at 18:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

Crucial block from TNS defender Josh Pask.

Djurgarden's Tokmac Nguen bursts forward and cuts in on his right, chipping a curler towards goal.

But Pask manages to get his head to the ball and deflect it wide. Behind him, his goalkeeper Connor Roberts was struggling to get there.

  14. Postpublished at 17:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

Paul Wanner wriggles away from his marker in a crowded penalty area and the ball eventually worms its way to Mathias Honsak, who doesn't even bother to take the shot on as he realised he was offside.

  15. 'Guiu full of energy'published at 17:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

We know Marc Guiu is full of energy and he can press well. He scored his first goal for the Chelsea in the last game against Noah.

He just needs to take a breath before a couple of these finishes. But he's getting in the right areas

  16. Postpublished at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea get forward at pace and Marc Guiu gets a couple of chances in quick succession.

The 18-year-old is getting in good positions but just needs to take his time with his shot as he drags the first wide and the second is collected by Kevin Muller.

  17. Postpublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

TNS' Jordan Williams gets a talking to for a late challenge but nothing more.

It's been a nervy start in Shropshire.

  18. Postpublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Cercle Brugge 0-0 Hearts

Hearts have been largely pinned in their own half so far in Brugge, but they break forward here with an impressive run by winger Alan Forrest.

The ball is half-cleared to striker Lawrence Shankland, whose low shot from 20 yards is well saved by the keeper.

Scotland international Shankland still only has one goal in all competitions so far this season.

  19. 'A way to keep Chelsea players happy'published at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Heidenheim 0-0 Chelsea

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has told before that it is not easy to keep a large group of players happy. The Conference League might be a way to do that, and the players are all at it as well. They don't treat the competition any differently.

    The New Saints 0-0 Djurgarden

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at New Meadow

The Welsh champions are playing their second 'home' game at Shrewsbury's New Meadow, but it's fair to say this is a different prospect than previous opponents Astana.

Not just in the standard of opposition with Djurgarden recently finishing fourth in the Swedish top-flight, but with the atmosphere being created by the visitors from Stockholm.

They are making up around half of the 4,000 crowd here and 100% of the noise. The giant flags are out already and they haven't stopped singing. All a bit different from Briton Ferry for TNS.
