    Hello from Munich!

It’s nice and sunny here in the city that will play host to tonight’s match between Denmark and Serbia.

I’m travelling to the Olympic Park, where the official fan zone is, before kick-off to meet some fans.

There’s already plenty of Danes out early exploring the city, including these two friends who have come dressed for the occasion.

It’s a short ride on the S-Bahn or the U-Bahn to the Olympic park from the main train station, while plenty of supporters are also heading to Marienplatz, which is the main square in the city centre.

  3. 'There's no issue - we're all human'published at 10:10 25 June

    England v Slovenia (20:00 BST)

    England

More from Declan Rice, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast, downplaying talk of any potential problems with the Three Lions.

Asked what the issue with England was, Rice replied: “Well, that is one of the problems, I don’t think there has been an issue.

“Players can have bad performances; we are all human. We are going to play bad sometimes, we can’t always play well.

“Four points [and] top of our group as I said.

“We have one more to go, which is a positive and if we win, [it] gives us hope for a better run-in.”

Gareth has successfully guided us through the group but the performances haven’t inspired enough optimism for me. The last few years we’ve not been favourites and I’m not sure we can handle the pressure. Hopefully this poor start will turn England back into the dark horses of the tournament, a role we can perform in!

    Ned, Bolton

Tonight's the night that our tournament turns on! By tomorrow morning the doom and gloom of the last week will have lifted. Foden and Kane will silence the critics, Bellingham will shine and our defence will keep a clean sheet. It's time to start believing and for the whole country to see how special this team can be! Come on England!!!

  5. 'It's a challenge to top the group'published at 09:57 25 June

    England v Slovenia (20:00 BST)

    England

"I think a sign of a good team is always when you don’t play well, you don’t lose the game," England midfielder Declan Rice told BBC Radio 5 Live's John Murray on their draw with Denmark, as he looked forward to tonight's final Group C game against Slovenia.

"Obviously, we didn’t lose and didn't have the best performance, which we have spoken about over the last few days.

"We have reviewed it as a group and as a team after, [we have] spoken internally as a group and knew it wasn’t good enough which was really important.

"We are ready for tomorrow, which is a fresh challenge. [It is] a challenge to top the group, to have a positive feeling and a positive vibe going into the knockout rounds."

We end our round-up of today's newspapers with a very busy sport page of the i, which leads on Declan Rice's insistence that England's forwards have been in "frightening form" during training sessions leading into tonight's game against Slovenia.

There's also focus on Italy's last-gasp draw with Croatia, which has likely eliminated Luka Modric and co, and an interesting teaser to David Moyes being talked up as a potential Scotland boss.

The Express continues with the "reset" theme but also hones in on Gareth Southgate's reported plan to bring in Conor Gallagher from the start against Slovenia tonight, replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield - in the hope of a more dynamic display from his side.

There's also an interesting interview with Slovenia striker Jan Mlakar - the former QPR and Wigan loanee - lauding Jude Bellingham as the "hottest player in the world" right now, but insisting his players don't "fear" England.

The Telegraph focuses on the "open and honest" conversations England boss Gareth Southgate has been having with his Three Lions squad as they "reset" and "reflect" following an underwhelming start to their Euro 2024 campaign.

Nice use of image and headline from the Mirror as they also lead with the openness between manager and players with a picture of Gareth Southgate and Phil Foden enjoying a "heart to heart".

Away from the Euros, they also report Manchester United will meet Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee's release clause at Bologna - you can read more on that in our daily Gossip article here.

The Star also leads on Declan Rice's assertion that England are ready to break out of their shell.

Not sure the Arsenal midfielder will love their picture of him auditioning for the famed Simpsons short "Man Getting Hit By Football in the Groin" though (great episode).

    England v Slovenia (20:00 BST)

    England

Gareth Southgate's England side may have qualified for the knockout rounds, but the result in tonight's game against Slovenia in Cologne could be key to determining their chances of progressing further.

Win the group and they will play a team that finishes third in the last 16.

Finish second in the group and England will play hosts Germany in the next round.

Drop down to third and the Three Lions will face a last-16 tie against either Portugal or the winner of Group E, which includes Belgium, Romania, Ukraine or Slovakia.

In case you missed it, England have qualified for the last 16 of Euro 2024 with a group game to spare after Spain beat Albania 1-0 on Monday.

The Three Lions finish their Group C campaign tonight against Slovenia in Cologne knowing they are already guaranteed to be in the next phase.

Gareth Southgate's side have four points after a 1-0 win against Serbia and then a 1-1 draw with Denmark, but Albania's defeat ensured England would, at least, be one of the four best third-placed teams.

England will win Group C if they beat Slovenia, while they could still come top if they draw and Denmark fail to beat Serbia.

If England draw and Denmark win the two nations will be split for first and second place on overall goal difference, then overall goals scored, then disciplinary points.

England cannot finish lower than third in Group C.

Right, we finish out round-up of Monday night's culmination of Group B with table-toppers Spain, who maintained their 100% record at Euro 2024 as they defeated and eliminated Albania – a result that meant England, France and the Netherlands all secured last-16 places.

Former Manchester City forward Ferran Torres, now at Barcelona, gave a much-changed Spain side the lead in the 13th minute, finishing low first time from Dani Olmo's pass with the ball bouncing in off the post.

Kristjan Asllani's powerful 25-yard strike for Albania drew a fine save from Spain goalkeeper David Raya, who spent last season at Arsenal on loan from Brentford.

Raya also did well to keep out Fulham striker Armando Broja's shot on the turn, as Albania could not find an equaliser and finished bottom of Group B.
