Marco Rus started the Ayr United turnaround

Ayr United came from two goals behind to beat Queen's Park and stay in touch at the top of the Scottish Championship.

After a goalless first half, Jack Turner put the hosts in front before Zak Rudden added a second five minutes later, with both goals created by Ryan Duncan.

However, Scott Brown's Ayr were unfazed and launched a magnificent comeback.

Marco Rus beat home goalkeeper Calum Ferrie to make it 2-1 and then turned provider for Ben Dempsey who swept home an equaliser.

Then, with 11 minutes to go, Curtis Main headed home Rus' cross to complete a dramatic turnaround.

Ayr move above Livingston into second and trail league-leaders Falkirk - who beat bottom side Airdrieonians 3-0 on Tuesday - by three points.
