It’s games like this you want to be involved in and it’s four hard games against Chelsea we’re having. We’ve had some great results and hopefully we don the same today.”

On her injury lay-off: “It’s been really tough. There’s been some hard moments but there’s also been good moments where I’ve felt small successes in the rehab I’ve been doing. It has been hard when all you want to do is play football. I felt like I started the season off well and we did as a team, so it’s been hard being away from so many games, but hopefully I’ll be back soon.”

On Man City’s season: “We’re going great. The [Champions League quarter-final] was fantastic and that showed that what we’ve been building the last few games. It shows that Chelsea are beatable and hopefully we can do that again today.

“There’s still so much to play for and we’re still up there in the league, so hopefully we can get that Champions League spot. We’re still in [that] competition, so hopefully we’ll win some silverware this year.”

Oh. Manchester City will not be happy with that. Kerolin is fouled on the edge of the box, the whistle is blown, Jess Park expertly hooks it inside the far post but play had already stopped.

They think the advantage should have been given there.
