Should be 1-0 Tottenham!

The ball ricochets off Drew Spence in the area and full-back Ella Morris picks it up and unleashes a powerful shot straight at Hammers keeper Kinga Szemik.

She parries the ball in front of her and Martha Thomas can't wrap her foot around the rebound, looping it harmlessly up into the air.

Tottenham are getting on the ball again. Charlotte Grant has a shot from the edge of the area blocked by a wall of home defenders.

Hehe. Martha Thomas takes a heavy touch which allows West Ham defender Amber Tysiak to get to the ball and hammer a clearance over the stands and into the stadium car park.

Danger well and truly gone.

Better from West Ham. Riko Ueki has the Spurs defence on strings as she sets up Katrina Gorry whose shot is blocked and then threads in Viviane Asseyi whose cross is caught by the keeper.

Spurs' Ella Morris gets into a decent position down the right channel but her whipped ball into the middle can't find a team-mate.

And up the other end it's the same story as Riko Ueki can't get on the end of a Manuela Pavi ball into the box.

Yeah, Drew Spence is hugging the left touchline and it's creating loads of space in the middle. Tottenham look really comfortable on the ball.

Tottenham are looking to go forward and that is what's great about Drew Spence playing higher up.

Both teams are going to go all out today to get three points.

Tottenham go on the front foot straight away but Drew Spence's cross into the middle is hacked clear.

West Ham then try to turn quickly on the counter but their attack fizzles out.

It looks like both these sides are going to go for it. Lovely.

Martha Thomas is no longer in my FantasyWSL team, so expect her to score a hatful.

Strikers are judged by how much they're putting the ball in the back of the net and Martha Thomas is falling short.

Hopefully, for her, she's going to have a big game today.

West Ham have won only one of their five WSL home matches against Tottenham Hotspur (D1 L3), losing 4-3 in this fixture last season.

It's not been a great season for Tottenham, they've not scored a lot of goals and have conceded too many.

They've created their own problems as the season's gone on.

They haven't created many, so if you're not doing that then you have to be clinical.

The forward players are not delivering.

Tottenham aren't doing great.

They've lost each of their last four WSL games. Only between November 2022 and March 2023 have Spurs lost more consecutive matches in the competition (nine in a row).

So, despite not winning either of their past two, I'd say West Ham are actually in decent form.

They looked good when they were beaten 4-3 by Arsenal at the start of this month and then rescued a draw against fourth-place Manchester City.

Tottenham are going to be a real acid test. But this is a match the Hammers will feel like they can - and should - be winning.

As I've shown you the bottom half of the table, I might as well show you the top too.

We won't have a new leader today, but Manchester City could give Chelsea another wobble.

West Ham could go above Tottenham with a win.

The Hammers beat Spurs 2-1 in the League Cup in January.

I wonder if I'll ever get proposed to after I finish one of these lives...

Anyway, Manuela Pavi is into the starting XI after hitting a late leveller against Manchester City. Will she be back in the goals today?

West Ham had last weekend off due to the League Cup final, so Rehanne Skinner makes two changes to the side that drew 1-1 at home to Man City in their last WSL game over a fortnight ago.

Forward Viviane Asseyi is back in squad and starts, as does fellow forward Manuela Pavi.

Eva Nystrom and Seraina Piubel drop to the bench.

Robert Vilahamn has opted to make three changes to the Tottenham side that fell to a 1-0 home defeat to Brighton last week.

We were treated to Goals Goals and more Goals yesterday with Everton cruising past Crystal Palace 3-0 and Arsenal thrashing Liverpool 4-0.

And after that Everton win forward Rikke Madsen had a comeback to remember as her boyfriend proposed following her first appearance in more than a year.

Madsen was named in Brian Sorensen's matchday squad for the first time since giving birth to her daughter Fritsen in October.

She said yes!
