Forest Green extended their lead at the top of the National League despite being held to a goalless draw at lowly Boston.

Robbie Savage's side failed to score for only the second time this season with Kyle McAllister and Christian Doidge having Rovers' best opportunities.

Boston also had some good moments with Greg Sloggett and Zak Mills denied by the excellent Luke McNicholas in the visitors' goal.

Rovers now hold a two-point lead at the top after second-placed Rochdale lost at home to Halifax.
