Tamworth struck twice in the final 10 minutes to inflict a fifth straight National League defeat on Altrincham.

Goals from Kennedy Digie and Alfie Bates stretched Tamworth's unbeaten run in all competitions to six games.

Lewis Banks put Altrincham ahead after 59 minutes – his third goal of the season – after rising to meet Elliot Osborne's corner.

Tom Crawford earlier had a goal ruled out for the hosts, and Altrincham's hopes were dashed when Digie equalised from a corner and Bates profited from a couple of deflections four minutes from time.
