    Colchester 1-0 Port Vale

Harry Anderson carries the ball straight down the middle of the pitch. He lays the ball to his left where Owura Edwards excitedly sets himself...and then skies over the crossbar.

  3. CHANCESpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Birmingham 2-0 Stevenage

Three clear openings for the visitors in quick succession and a bit of complacency creeping in from Blues.

First, Brandon Hanlan gets forward and has a presentable chance, but doesn't get enough curl on his attempt from outside the box.

Louis Thompson then attempts to dink Ryan Allsop from 35 yards but gets too much on it and it goes out for a goal-kick before, soon after, quick feet from Daniel Kemp allows himself to strike at goal but his effort is deflected slightly wide.

Meanwhile, Tomoki Iwata and Jay Stansfield are both booked for fouls on halfway for the hosts.

  5. 'Far too easy'published at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Grimsby 0-1 Notts County

    Gary Croft
Former Grimsby defender on BBC Radio Humberside

Far too easy to head it back across goal, no challenge at all, into a lovely area.

It looked like it bounced down off the bar and Jatta had the easy job knocking in the rebound for Notts County.

  6. goal

GOAL Grimsby 0-1 Notts Countypublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Alassana Jatta (56 mins)

He can't stop scoring! Alassana Jatta has 17 league goals this season, no one has more.

This isn't one for the scrapbook though. Matty Platt won a header at the back post and simply nodded it into an area.

Lewis Macari throws himself at the ball and after it bobbles around, Jatta makes sure the ball crosses the line.

He immediately goes to celebrate with David McGoldrick on the touchline.

  7. ''We need to start testing him more'published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Grimsby 0-0 Notts County

    Mark Stallard
Former Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Just another example of Notts breaking well down the left with Abbott but the cross is catching practice for Wright in the Grimsby net.

We need to start testing him a little bit more.

  8. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Colchester 1-0 Port Vale

Port Vale's Ethan Chislett puts a free-kick into the box that is just begging to be prodded home.

It teases everyone in the middle before finding Connor Hall at the back post, but he can't square for a team-mate.

Then Ronan Curtis hammers a ball across the face for goal, but no one can stretch far enough to divert in.

U's goalscorer Samson Tovide was withdrawn at the break for top-scorer Lyle Taylor.

  10. 'Perfect start to the second half for Birmingham'published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Birmingham 2-0 Stevenage

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Paik drives home his first goal of the season, it's driven low, left footed, it's been a long time coming for the South Korean international.

Blues get their much-needed second goal just 70 seconds into the second half.

Perfect start to the second half for Birmingham City.

  11. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 2-0 Stevenagepublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Paik Seung-ho (47 mins)

Great start to the second-half for Blues and that could be that for tonight!

The hosts make a blistering start and after Alfie May is almost put in 30 seconds into his arrival, some good last-ditch defending from Charlie Goode momentarily relieves the pressure, resulting in a corner.

From it, the visitors are unable to clear and the ball lands at the feet of South Korean Paik Seung-ho, who turns in on his left-foot and hits an accurate low shot that beats Murphy Cooper through a crowd of bodies to double the visitors advantage.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

Jayden Luker was a threat in the first half, and if anything he looks hungrier after the break.

He forces Sam Slocombe into a full stretch to tap a rasping effort over the bar.

  16. League Two half-time round-uppublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

Accrington have been the big winners of the first half, having put three past Newport inside 26 minutes. Victory would pull out a 10-point buffer on the bottom two for Stanley.

AFC Wimbledon's Marcus Browne cancelled out Cheltenham striker Ashley Hay's opener, as Johnnie Jackson's side chase an automatic promotion spot.

And Liam Mandeville and Aribim Pepple made Salford's Hakeeb Adelakun pay for his red card against Chesterfield.

Elsewhere, Exeter continue to lead Mansfield following Demetri Mitchell's eighth-minute goal.

Bristol Rovers and Bolton are level at 1-1, and Charlton have taken the lead at Crawley Town before the break thanks to Thierry Small's 37th-minute goal.

Blackpool's Ashley Fletcher cancelled out Cambridge United's Dom Ballard's early goal as it remains 1-1 at Bloomfield Road, and it is goalless between Reading and promotion-chasing Wrexham, where we are still in the first-half due to a 20:00 GMT kick-off in Berkshire.

  18. 'Birmingham on course for 19 home games unbeaten'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    HT: Birmingham 1-0 Stevenage

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park

A subdued St. Andrew's applauds their team off at the break. Birmingham are on course for 19 home games unbeaten - invincible here but the pre-match fireworks have been the most spectacular scene so far.

The marauding Alfons Sampsted has been bright on the right. His movement won Blues their penalty, cooly converted by Dowell and that's been about it.

Jamie Reid forced a flying save from Ryan Allsop very early on but since then it's been all Birmingham.

Lenny Kravitz's Are You Gonna Go My Way plays out. They're solo, 13 clear, not threatened by Stevenage and another step closer to the Championship.

  19. 'One flash of brilliance'published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

HT: Colchester United 1-0 Port Vale

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Sport England

According to Colchester boss Danny Cowley, the club turned down numerous offers for striker Samson Tovide during the January transfer window, and with one flash of brilliance after 34 minutes we have seen just why he is one of League Two's hottest properties.

Port Vale defender Nathan Smith was perhaps unfortunate to see his header bounce off the back of the home forward on the halfway line but the rest was all of Tovide's making as he sprinted past Smith before cutting into the 18-yard area and beating Ben Amos from a narrow angle.

Up to that point it had been a pretty even affair with two Tom Flanagan errors offering openings to Vale but neither Ronan Curtis or Kyle John could beat Matt Macey.

Tovide might have opened his account after only 38 seconds but fired straight at Amos, and Ellis Iandolo was denied by the visiting goalkeeper from a well-worked corner routine.

These two started the evening on 11-match unbeaten runs, they could both still end the night on the round dozen but for now Colchester are within two points of the top seven.

  20. 'Just waiting for a Town player to get on the end of it'published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    HT: Grimsby 0-0 Notts County

    Gary Croft
Former Grimsby defender on BBC Radio Humberside

Nothing too blatant at the moment but you get the feeling that something is going to come.

The ball has been bouncing around and you're just waiting for a Town player to get on the end of it.

They're playing really well and you're just hoping we come out on the right side of it.
