Brian Graham completed a double to secure a victory for Partick Thistle that leaves 10-man Airdrieonians marooned at the foot of the Scottish Championship.

The veteran striker fired the hosts into a fifth-minute lead, but midfielder Adam Frizzell found the bottom corner to level before the break.

Lewis McGrattan set up that reply, but the midfielder was shown a red card for violent conduct following a challenge on Kyle Turner six minutes into the second half.

Graham made them pay from close range with just under 15 minutes remaining - his seventh goal of the season consolidating his side in fifth place.

Dunfermline Athletic's draw with Greenock Morton means the visitors are now a point adrift at the bottom after a sixth successive game without a victory.
