"And the plan with them is to try and start playing with our Under-21s next week, 45 minutes. After the break they will be available should everything go well to be with us."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola on having his first opportunity to experience the rivalry between the Cherries and the Saints on Monday night: "I haven't had the chance to experience it yet. I'm sure that this is a game our supporters want to win, and their supporters probably feel the same way.

"It is a derby - a game that everybody always wants to win. Considering the standings, I think it is a very important game for us."

Iraola added that it is "disappointing" that he will be serving a touchline ban for the game: "It is disappointing, but we cannot change it. They told me that, with yellow cards, you cannot appeal them. That is something that doesn't happen in Spain, over there you can do it.

"I think they probably understand my side now, but they cannot accept any appeals for yellow cards - so I will be upstairs."

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna on captain Sam Morsy's celebration following his last minute equaliser against Southampton: "It's one of the shortest knee-slides I've got to say, so I think there's a bit of work to do on the technique of the slide."

"He's scored a few big goals for us to be fair and he's always come up with a slightly different celebration so maybe he isn't a regular enough scorer to have a stock or custom one."

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou on Son Heung-min: "He wants to train tomorrow and then we will make a decision from there.

"We have got another day up our sleeve to give him every chance."

On whether he gets the final say in the captain's contract talks: "I don’t always have the final say but I would like to think my input is significant. It is part of a broader discussion, but the way he is performing and leading, I want him around for a while longer."

Tottenham Hotspur

In response to where he sees Archie Gray playing best, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou said: "I see him in a Tottenham shirt and playing great football! From the moment he’s arrived he’s looked like a mature young man who has a great focus around the career ahead of him.

"He will be a significant contributor for us and I was really proud of the way he handled last night."

On facing Manchester United, as pressure continues to build on Erik ten Hag, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou said: "There’s always some manager under pressure. There must be a spinning board with all our faces on and whichever it lands on cops it for a week or two!

"He’s done a great job. He keeps mentioning he’s won two trophies and that’s not insignificant. Everyone keeps saying that is all I need to do but then there is always something expected after. It is a difficult job.

"It is tough to go to Old Trafford. Irrespective of managers, it is still a rather compelling home record. It is one we will be ready for."

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou on goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario being captain against Qarabag: "He has been great since he arrived. Criticism is just part of the nature of football these days.

"I included him in the leadership of this year and his growth is really positive. He is a great example for everyone and a great human being. It was great for him to get the armband and he rose to the occasion."

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has been speaking to the media ahead of their match against Aston Villa on Sunday and began with a team news update: "Kalvin [Phillips] has trained with the group today so we'll make a judgement on how many minutes he's available for.

"Nathan [Broadhead] has been training well for the last week or so, so we've almost got a fully fit squad."

"The group is getting stronger in numbers and every other capacity so we've got good depth at the moment."

Brentford

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has been speaking to the media ahead of their match against West Ham on Saturday.

Frank said "it's going to be a close call" on if Christian Norgaard will return from injury tomorrow- but he has been training today.

On the injured Rico Henry and Joshua Dasilva: "Josh is further down the line [than Rico]. Rico is progressing but it's still not like he will play next week."

On the amount of injuries Brentford have: "We've been very unlucky, but that happens, it's part of football. You can be more hit by injuries than others. We need to work on how can we get them back to playing. How can we accelerate that process, which we are working on."

Finally Wolves manager Gary O'Neil said on his side's resilience: "When you are losing games it becomes tougher to win them. They are a resilient group and at Aston Villa they gave absolutely everything.

"They made some errors and we made some mistakes and we got punished. But not through a lack of effort, resilience and togetherness. I know sometimes it can look different to that from the outside but I can guarantee you, 100%, that there is no lack of togetherness, resilience and desperation to get over the line."

Wolves

Wolves boss O'Neil was also asked about Liverpool's new manager Arne Slot: "He's excellent and it's no surprise to me he's started well. Liverpool is well run and organised and have a good squad. He's a good coach."

And on the club's poor start to the season: "We have to accept where we are and then fight with everything we have to improve it. We'll give everything tomorrow."

Chelsea

More from Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca on Jackson and Nkunku: "Be honest with him and all of them [on when they are selected to play]. Probably I've told them since day one we cant play with seven attacking players.

"Jackson played in the Premier League, scored two goals. Nkunku played the other day and scored three.

"This is good because not one of them can drop that means that the other one, he can have more chances, thinking and knowing that it’s impossible for them to be at the same level for all season because it’s not possible.

"But it’s important that they compete with each other and they are ready when we give them minutes."

On whether Rodri's injury is linked to the one he sustained while on international duty, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said "I am not a doctor. I don’t know. Nobody knows.

"I have an opinion on that but the international team wanted to do the best for him. It is not absolutely related to the international team."

Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arteta on speaking with Pep Guardiola after the match against Manchester City last weekend: "I love him, I respect him, I admire him and his team and everything that he does. This is sport and a personal relationship.

"If my relationship has to be damaged because one draws and the other one wins when we play against each other, the amount of times that we have lost, then I wouldn’t talk to him anymore.

"It’s sport and it will never get in the way of a personal relationship for sure.”
