Katie McCabe is the first player to have their name taken by referee Emily Heaslip for upending Tottenham's Olivia Holdt as she tried to drive upfield.

McCabe voices her complaints but they fall on deaf ears.

Stina Blackstenius' is gaining in influence here and looks the most likely player in red to break the deadlock.

Compatriot Amanda Nilden did well to get tight there to prevent her turning and shooting inside the box.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 38 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

Stina Blackstenius shows great feet to trick her way past Clare Hunt not once but twice before forcing Lize Kop into a smart save, low down at her near post.

That's more like it from the Gunners.

There's been a real lack of clear-cut chances, it's been quite even.

Two shots and one on target for each side.

Arsenal are going up the gears now and starting to create, albeit if they're still only half chances.

Beth Mead does well to volley a square pass to Alessia Russo in the box but her snapshot misses the target.

    No.

Cathinka Tandberg uses her tall frame to reach it first and nod clear for Spurs, before Stina Blackstenius' goalbound header is pounced upon by Lize Kop.

Another chance for Kyra Cooney-Cross to curl a free-kick towards the back post.

Can a red shirt make a telling contact this time?

Naz has for sure been a livewire in this opening half hour for Spurs.

We're still waiting for this one to properly spark into life though.

Arsenal skipper Steph Catley and Tottenham defender Clare Hunt knock heads when contesting the resulting corner, with the medics quick to rush on to check on them.

    That looked a sore one.

  13. CLOSE!published at 14:57 GMT

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

Kyra Cooney-Cross sends in a peach of a delivery to the back post but Evaliina Summanen is there to head clear for the hosts before Alessia Russo or Lotte Wubben-Moy can direct it on target.

  14. Postpublished at 23 mins

Spurs give the ball away again and Ashleigh Neville is forced to bring down Caitlin Foord before she can dash into the box. Wide free kick to Arsenal it is then.

  15. Postpublished at 14:55 GMT

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

A bit of sloppiness has crept into the Tottenham ranks in recent minutes, with quite a few giveaways in and around their own box.

Martin Ho will be grateful that Arsenal aren't yet in the right mood to punish them.

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

A Tottenham clearance rolls invitingly to the edge of the box for Kyra Cooney-Cross to run onto and hit.

She gets plenty behind it but the accuracy is lacking and flies well wide of Lize Kop's net.

Spurs are slightly loose, a little bit late in terms of decision-making and hesitation. The more that goes on, the more encouragement this Arsenal press will take.

Arsenal started very well but Spurs are trying to take the pace and energy out of this attack and it seems to be working.

Beth Mead is now limping whilst having a stern word with referee Emily Heaslip.

Seems like the Arsenal forward was caught a tad late there.

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

Katie McCabe launches a long throw towards the towering figure of Stina Blackstenius but the forward can't make it stick and Tottenham regain the ball once again.

After that fast start Arsenal are struggling to knit more than a few passes together.
