Will Evans celebrates scoring Mansfield's third goal against Leyton Orient

A superb strike from two-goal Regan Hendry set Mansfield on their way to a third successive league win as they saw off Leyton Orient 4-1.

The visitors ended the game with 10 men after Idris El Mizouni was sent off on 62 minutes.

After Will Evans had seen a header bounce off the top of the crossbar on 11 minutes, the Stags took the lead with an incredible effort four minutes later.

Winning a tackle in the centre circle, Hendry lifted an outrageous effort from the centre spot that sailed perfectly over the retreating Tommy Simkin and under the bar.

Hendry then finished off a great home move on 29 minutes as a string of passes ended with a low Frazer Blake-Tracy ball across goal being tucked in at the far post.

But Orient were suddenly right back in it on 37 minutes as, from a right-wing corner by Ollie O'Neill, Josh Koroma easily out-muscled Evans to head past Liam Roberts.

But Evans made it 3-1 on 59 minutes. Jordan Bowery won the ball out wide and squared to him and the striker turned superbly before smashing an unstoppable finish past Simkin from 18 yards.

El Mizouni picked up a needless second yellow card in 11 minutes for bringing down Nathan Moriah-Welsh soon after.

In the last of five added minutes, both Evans and Luke Bolton had shots blocked on the line, but Bolton reacted quickly to smash home at the second time of asking.
