Huge let-off for Villa. Maccabi should be ahead.

Roy Revivo squares the ball for captain Dor Peretz, six yards out, but he shoots straight at Emiliano Martinez when he had half an empty goal to shoot into.

It gets worse for Rangers because Roma have doubled their lead.

An inch-perfect ball finds Artem Dovbyk and the big striker turns and lays off for Lorenzo Pellegrini to curl in a low finish into the far corner.

Meanwhile, ex-Manchester United forward Antony is a player in form right now as he gets his fifth goal in his last five appearances in all competitions with a lovely lofted finish to extend Real Betis lead over Lyon to 2-0.

Aston Villa 0-0 Maccabi Tel Aviv

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

When Rogers gets going he makes the game look easy. It's a little bit of quality. The run through was strong. A bit of skill but he bumbled a way through the last bit and is unfortunate not to get a shot on goal.

Palace (nowadays) can cope with strong opposition, extra games and being a top ten, cup-winning side. One thing they do struggle with is expectation.
