Georgia Timms scored Hearts' second goal

Hearts overcame a solid Hamilton Accies side to pick up their first league win of the season with a 2-0 victory at New Douglas Park.

It took until the second half for Hearts to break the deadlock in Hamilton, new signing Carly Johns bagged her first goal since joining in the summer when she fired in from Lauren Wade's cross.

Substitute Georgia Timms doubled the visitors' advantage with a whipped shot from the right.

The result moves Hearts into the top half of the SWPL table, two points behind Hibs and Glasgow City who both have a game in hand.
