It capped off an incredible season for the 27-yearold England international who also scored eight goals and created eight assists during Palace's Premier League campaign.

During their successful FA Cup campaign, Eze scored four goals for the Eagles, including in the quarter-final against Fulham and the semi-final against Aston Villa.

I have no basis for this but I have an inkling that Aston Villa will have a terrible start to the season and Unai Emery might not be in the job by the end of the season.

Tottenham are also in talks with Manchester City over a move for Savinho but multiple sources have indicated that Eberechi Eze is now emerging as a player of serious interest for the club.

There is no confirmation as to whether Tottenham look to progress with deals for both Savinho and Eze.

Arsenal have an interest in Eze but the club are currently looking at trying to move players on, with the likes of Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira set to leave.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham’s active interest in Eze results in Arsenal accelerating a move for the England star.

Sources have told BBC Sport that the clubs have reached an agreement over a deal for Grealish, who reportedly earns £300,000 a week at City, and a medical is imminent.

The 29-year-old has fallen out of favour at City and was left out of their squad for the final Premier League game of last season at Fulham, as well as the Club World Cup in the United States.

Grealish joined City from Aston Villa for what was a record fee of £100m for a British player in August 2021 and has made more than 150 appearances, winning three Premier League titles, the Champions League and the FA Cup.
