Kirsty Morrisons' stoppage time goal secured a 1-0 win for Hibs to move them top of the SWPL table.

It was a cagey affair at Petershill as Glasgow City and Hibs played out their 500th SWPL game with a place at the summit of the top flight at stake.

Brenna Lovera hit the post, albeit in an offside position, and smashed a shot wide as City looked for an opener.

It seemed as though the points would be shared until Hibs' 97th minute corner.

Stacy Papadopoulos latched onto the delivery and fired a strike which smashed off the underside of the crossbar and bundled back out into the path of the onrushing Morrison.

The Hibs striker, who replaced Kathleen McGovern inside the first five minutes, took a sore one in the process of securing all three points for Grant Scott's side.
