Georgia Timms' brace helped Hearts to all three points at Oriam

Hearts proved their SWPL title credentials with an impressive 3-1 win over reigning champions Celtic.

Defender Emma Brownlie opened the scoring inside 10 minutes at Oriam when she headed past Kelsey Daugherty in the Celtic goal following a free-kick.

Former Celtic midfielder Lisa Roberston set up Georgia Timms for Hearts' second with a pinpoint cross into the middle of the box which was turned home by the striker.

Saoirse Noonan pulled one back for Celtic with a stunning overhead kick following a corner.

But Hearts broke up the other end not even three minutes later and Bayley Hutchison set up her strike partner Timms for the hosts' third and final goal of the game.
