Logan Chalmers equalised from the penalty spot

Logan Chalmers rescued a point for Partick Thistle as they came from behind to draw with Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship.

Morton took the lead on the counter-attack just after the half hour, Eammon Brophy setting up midfielder Ali Crawford to slot home.

Thistle goalkeeper Josh Clarke turned wide a close-range Zak Delaney header and Brophy's header from the corner struck the crossbar.

Chalmers was denied an equaliser by the face of a post, but the forward slotted home four minutes after the break when Jackson Longridge was ruled to have fouled Tsoanelo Lets'osa.

Thistle's first point of the season leaves Morton without a win at Firhill in nine visits since December 2019, drawing the latest three.
