  2. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-2 St Mirrenpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time

A terrific first half in the Lanarkshire sunshine.

Two sides gunning for a top six finish, and playing ambitious attacking football.

St Mirren galloped into a 2-0 lead when Caolan Boyd-Munce's deflected effort outfoxed Ellery Balcombe, before Killian Phillips battered home a volley from the edge of the area.

Barely a minute later, Callum Slattery bamboozled two St Mirren players and stabbed home a neat finish to reenergise the home fans.

A cracking fixture hangs in the balance.

  3. HALF-TIME Hearts 1-0 Ross Countypublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time

Hearts will be happy with that first half display, but thinking it could have been more.

They have dominated possession, but only have the one goal to show for it thanks to Elton Kabangu.

County aren't out of it. They've had a few set pieces and Kieran Phillips has been a real handful up front.

  4. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernianpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time

Martin Boyle's goal is the difference at the break and it is a deserved lead for Hibs.

Killie have had their moments but are lacking a composed touch in the final third.

Some of the visitor's play in the Killie half has been excellent, with Hoilett and Boyle particular standouts, while their backline has consistently halted the hosts.

A frantic first half at McDiarmid Park comes to an end. Both sides carved out opportunities but neither really tested the other's goalkeeper.

A big second half coming up.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Motherwell 1-2 St Mirren

Impressive stuff from Motherwell as they continue their pursuit of an equaliser.

Stephen O'Donnell's raking diagonal is met first time, on the slide, by Dom Thompson, hooking it across the face of goal.

Lennon Miller takes it in his stride but rasps narrowly over from inside the St Mirren box.

Hearts are knocking it around with real confidence and they've managed to wriggle into the box through Blair Spittal, but his cutback is deflected into the hands of Jordan Amissah.

  9. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time

Other results are going Falkirk's way but the Championship leaders have just missed a penalty at Queen's Park. Brad Spencer with a terrible effort that left BBC Scotland veteran Chick Young spluttering in disbelief.

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

That was an incredible sequence of events that led to Hibernian's opener and it looked as though the visitors had targeted an opportunity from Kilmarnock's corner.

They seized on the ball and broke like it was a 100m sprint leaving the home side completely exposed. A superbly executed counter-attack.

Derek McInnes will be raging at how soft that was though.

  12. goal

GOAL Motherwell 1-2 St Mirrenpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    Callum Slattery

How's that for a response? It's phenomenal play from Callum Slattery, who drags Motherwell back within a goal from absolutely nothing.

Ellery Balcombe bangs a long ball forward, Slattery beats Alex Gogic to to it, jinks inside Alex Iacovitti, and prods a fabulous strike home from the edge of the area.

The Steelmen right back in it.

    Motherwell goal
  13. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hearts 1-0 Ross County

Another chance for Hearts as James Wilson is slipped in, but he's angling away from goal and can't cut the ball past Jordan Amissah in the County goal.

It would be some way to cap the week of his dreams.

  14. goal

GOAL Motherwell 0-2 St Mirrenpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    What a finish!

Stephen Robinson coming back to haunt his former team.

Kilmarnock's short corner routine is easily intercepted by Dylan Levitt who gathers the ball and charges up the park. Hoilett to his right, Boyle to his left.

Levitt opts for Boyle, who sweeps home in with a composed finish. Robby McCrorie gets a touch on it but cannot keep it out.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time

He got in behind a minute ago and this time he punishes County!

An eighth goal in 11 games for the Belgian striker.
