    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hearts

Nasty collision on the edge of the Killie box here. Stuart Findlay is down holding his ankle, as is Yan Dhanda.

It's a Hearts free kick in any case, as both receive treatment.

They've now gone to the monitor for a red card check...

    St Johnstone 0-1 Dundee

It will be interesting to see how the conditions impact these games. The heat and humidity is bound to take a toll as the match wears on.

Simon Murray forces a Dundee corner, which is followed by another but St Johnstone keep their deficit to one.

Dundee may deem that attack is the best form of defence today because Saints are really struggling to get out.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hearts

Really not a lot to tell you about at Rugby Park, but Hearts have had a shot.

It's Alan Forrest with the effort, but it's pretty tame and Robby McCrorie holds at the second attempt.

  4. goal

GOAL Ross County 1-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 18 May

    Ronan Hale

Ross County are holding up their end of the bargain.

A huge response to that Dundee opener, Ronan Hale lashing in his 16th of the season.

Akil Wright plays the striker through, and from right of the target, he drills beyond Ellery Balcombe at the goalkeeper's near post.

Balcombe got fingers to it, but the pace of Hale's shot sent it tearing into the net.

Remember, though, County need St Johnstone to turn the tables on Dundee for this match to have any bearing on the race to beat the drop.

    Lyall Cameron

    A massive goal for Dundee!

Lyall Cameron receives possession on the left and drives at the St Johnstone defence before cutting inside to strike across the bows of Ross Sinclair into the right corner.

    A real classy goal.

    Dundee 0-0 St Johnstone

Dundee winger Scott Tiffoney enters the St Johnstone box and comes up against a clutch of legs.

There are faint calls for a penalty from the visiting fans but they are optimistic at best as VAR sees no reason for review.

I gave it the big build up but sadly my faith was misplaced.

This has gone totally flat and has a 'get me to the beach' feel about it.

A few drives from distance are the extent of the excitement.

Sadly for Zander Clark, he's has had to come off with injury to be replaced in goal by Ryan Fulton. I'm not sure if that was the result of any early collision at a corner.

That hotel beer garden outside the stadium is looking ever more appealing.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hearts

Zander Clark, who has missed the last few weeks with injury, seems to be coming off. He's on his bum, shaking his head at the physio.

Ryan Fulton is stripped and ready. He's started the last two.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 18 May

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

First real effort for Dundee as Lyall Cameron gets a hold of his shot but it swerves wide. Decent stuff from the midfielder.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:17 British Summer Time 18 May

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

    Ooft, and another chance.

Michee Efete bustles into the box again and forces Balcombe to stop, before the flag is raised.

Then a lighter moment - albeit a wonderful flourish of skill - from Ronan Hale.

The striker blocks Balcombe's clearance, the ball cannons out for a goal kick and then rolls back onto the pitch.

Hale sizes it up from a few yards off the left touchline and curls a beauty into the top bin. He seems a bit perplexed it wasn't given. Worth a try...

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

Livingston assistant coach Brian Rice is at McDiarmid Park today to take in this game, just in case his side face Dundee in the Scottish Premiership play-off final.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:15 British Summer Time 18 May

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

It feels like a Staggies goal is in the post here.

Michee Efete picks up possession on the right angle of the box, turns Ewan Wilson inside and out, and sees his rasping shot blocked by Ellery Balcombe.

  13. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 18 May

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

Another Taylor Steven cross puts Dundee under more pressure with a teasing cross and Ryan Astley swings a leg at it to put the ball out and prevent it reaching a St Johnstone player.

Astley was never going to give that up...

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:13 British Summer Time 18 May

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Zac Ashworth bends in a terrific corner to the Motherwell back post.

Will Nightingale and Akil Wright rise, the former gets his forehead to it, but the looping effort is snatched by Ellery Balcombe on the dive.

  15. Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 18 May

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hearts

A couple of half-chances for either side, with Hearts going pretty close just there.

Stephen Kingsley strode forward and lashed one over the bar, before Cammy Devlin dribbled one wide.

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

It has been a very lively start by St Johnstone.

With their fate already sealed, perhaps the pressure is off and they can play with a bit of freedom.

That could spell bad news for Dundee.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

The first real chance comes St Johnstone's way as Taylor Steven crosses and Mackenzie Kirk flicks the ball wide.

  18. Tayside rivals struggling to find their markpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

An inaccurate start to proceedings at McDiarmid Park - both sides are struggling in the final third.

Both teams are wearing their away strips today so St Johnstone are in black with Dundee in white tops and dark blue shorts.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:08 British Summer Time 18 May

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

First encouraging spell for Ross County after a nervy opening.

Ronan Hale thunders on to a Nohan Kenneh through ball and sees his shot deflected behind for a corner.

Hale is soon on the prowl again, winning his team another corner.

Nothing comes of the set-piece, but County have made a confident start.

  20. Rugby Park right up for thispublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 18 May

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hearts

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

There's little end of season feel as we get started here.

Hearts were greeted to a chorus of boos on their emergence from the tunnel and there's been a wall of noise early on.

Fans of both have turned up in decent numbers and the sun is blazing. Perfect for a tasty contest.
