    The visitors come within the width of the crossbar of opening the scoring just after the quarter hour.

    Lewis McGregor receives the ball on the right wing from Jamie McGonigle before cutting in past two defenders and into the penalty area.

    He lets fly from just inside the box but his shot crashes off the underside of the crossbar and is eventually cleared by a relieved home defence.

    Two good chances in quick succession for Tomas Galvin.

    For the first, the ball was whipped into the area and Galvin got a head to it but couldn’t get a good connection on it and Nathan Gartside easily claimed it.

    Second later, the ball came into Galvin’s feet in the box. He turned to manufacture space for himself but pulled his effort the wrong side of the post.
