    St Johnstone 0-1 Kilmarnock

That's brilliant from Uche Ikpeazu. The big man holds off his defender in the penalty box then spins him to cut the ball low to Makenzie Kirk.

Unfortunately for Saints, the striker's shot is way off target, but it takes a deflection on its way behind.

  2. goal

GOAL Hibernian 2-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 3 May

    Mykola Kuharevich

It's going from bad to worse for United!

Moments after United keeper Jack Walton pulls off a stunning double save to deny Myko Kuharevich and Junior Hoilett, the former picks up on the half way line, makes a cracking solo run and smashes into the bottom corner.

    Hibernian 1-0 Dundee United

This has been a poor opening 10 minutes from United. So good for long spells this season, they seem a bit shell-shocked that Hibs (so good at home recently) have had a right good go from the outset.

Surely they would have been expecting that? Hibs trying to sniff out a second...

  4. goal

GOAL St Johnstone 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 3 May

    David Watson

    Some finish!

Watson gets the ball on the edge of the box, rolls it onto his right, and dips the ball into the bottom corner.

He's not started that often since January, but he's repaid the faith shown in him today.

    Hibernian 1-0 Dundee United

A United chance comes to nothing and Hibs use the opportunity to race up the other end on the counter-attack.

The ball eventually falls to Martin Boyle, who sends it straight into the arms of goalkeeper Jack Walston.

Ross County 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Not a great deal to shout about in Dingwall, but it's Hearts who look the more likely to shatter the deadlock.

A couple of searching balls from midfield have found Lawrence Shankland on the charge, but on both occasions, the Hearts captain has been unable to grapple it under control and work a shot.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 3 May

    St Mirren 0-0 Aberdeen

It's been all Aberdeen and, after a series of corners, Leighton Clarkson fashions a chance to strike.

His low, shot from an angle creeps narrowly past, but an encouraging start for the visitors.

  12. Too easy for Hibspublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 3 May

    Hibernian 1-0 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Easter Road

That is some shambolic defending from United - and the returning Declan Gallagher - in particular.

His feet are all a-fankle, allowing the ball to trickle over the line after a touch from Martin Boyle to Chris Cadden's ball across.

Dream start for the green and white.

  13. goal

GOAL Hibernian1-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 3 May

    Martin Boyle

    Oh dear - United's defence!

Chris Cadden, racing down the wing, slips it through to Boyle in the middle, United defender Declan Gallagher gets it caught under his feet and gifts it to the Hibs striker yards from goal.

The Hibs man makes no mistake from that distance.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:06 British Summer Time 3 May

Ross County 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

First little opening in the Highlands, carved out by Hearts.

James Penrice and Blair Spittal exchange passes down the left and the latter's in-swinging delivery is narrowly missed by the on-rushing Jorge Grant.

  15. Postpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 3 May

    St Johnstone 0-0 Kilmarnock

That's not bad from Josh McPake.

The winger skips in from the left, leaving a defender in his wake, and fires low and hard at goal - but there's a Killie defender there to block.

    Hibernian 0-0 Dundee United

    Kheredine Idessane

Big crowd in place here at Easter Road.

A very colourful, noisy scene here in the capital.

Green and white flags being waved away to my left. A good-sized travelling support clad in tangerine and black off to my right.

Not too many empty seats to be had.

It's all set for a belter, as both sides eye third place, and a possibly favour from St Mirren, who host the other team in the mix, Aberdeen.

    Hibernian v Dundee United (15:00)

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Easter Road

Curiously, high-flying Hibs haven't enjoyed a home league win over Dundee United in many years.

Since January 2017, in fact, when both sides were in the Championship.

Games between these two this season have been crackers. Eleven goals in three games.

Let's have plenty more today, please gents. Thanks.

    Gully Singh

The sun is sitting perfectly across the pitch and all the more importantly, Simo Valakari will be hoping the Gods are shining down on his home team, who require nothing less than a win to aid their safety.

Speaking to him earlier, he still believes. Now it's up to his players to do the talking on the pitch.
