Dylan Tait scored a hat-trick as Falkirk cruised to victory in their Premier Sports Cup opener over Highland League side Brechin City.
Summer signing Brian Graham set up fellow veteran Scott Arfield to strike Falkirk's opener.
Arfield added another from the spot seven minutes after Dylan Tait scored Falkirk's second, and four after Alfie Agyeman got the third.
Tait struck twice in the second half for the visitors to round off his hat-trick before Ross MacIver found the seventh in added time.
Elsewhere in Group A, League 2 Spartans caused an upset with a 2-1 win over Championship Queen's Park.
