  1. 'It seems we've gone direct'published at 18:59 BST 11 October

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

    Craig Rutherford
Former Barrow first team coach on BBC Radio Cumbria

It seems we've gone a lot more direct since Tyler Walker has came on.

In the first half we were playing across and it seems we're going more direct now, I don't think Walker is that type of player.

  2. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

The ball falls for Kai Payne in the box but he is blocked out.

Oldham are playing some nice stuff now, but the yellow wall is standing firm.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Isaac Fletcher had clearly tired in the last few moments and Andy Whing has clocked that.

Tyler Walker is sent on in his place.

  4. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Jake Caprice off the bench and adding another off-target shot for Oldham.

The right back lashes at a loose ball, after a Wyll Stanway punch. But can't find the net.

Barrow are sitting off now. Are they already happy with the point?

  5. 'Ogle has struggled with Newby'published at 18:48 BST 11 October

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

    Craig Rutherford
Former Barrow first team coach on BBC Radio Cumbria

I'm not surprised by this change because I think Ogle has struggled with Elliot Newby down this left side.

Lets see how they get on with Jake Caprice on that side.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Micky Mellon reacts to his opposite number. He reverses one of his pre-match changes, with Jake Caprice on for Reagan Ogle.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 59 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Charlie McCann takes the place of Connor Mahoney, as Andy Whing tries a new approach.

  8. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Still frenetic, but the quality in the final third isn't there.

Elliot Newby has space bursting forward from left back, but his effort stings the palms of Matthew Hudson.

Forget the orange segments, this lot have been on the energy drinks.

It is breathless, end-to-end stuff, and a goal must be coming very soon.

Tom Pett's latest shot is probably curling wide but Wyll Stanway dives at full length to push away anyway.

  10. 'Barrow couldn't clear their lines'published at 18:36 BST 11 October

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

    Adam Johnson
    BBC Radio Cumbria Sport

Barrow just couldn't clear there lines and Mellon hit the post.

It was a great block from Ben Jackson on the follow up from Joe Quigley as well.

Barrow haven't had a chance to catch their breath.

  11. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

Now Barrow have gone agonisingly close.

Rekeem Harper meets a corner in front of Matthew Hudson but his header rolls across the roof of the net.

Those half-time oranges have done the job!

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 48 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

HOW HAVE OLDHAM NOT TAKEN THE LEAD?!?!?

Michael Mellon stays onside from a low quickly taken free-kick. He is in behind and beats Wyll Stanway...but not the post.

No worries, Joe Quigley is there to tap in.

Nope, his shot takes two deflections and is saved on the line. Wow!

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Oldham 0-0 Barrow

We don't want to alarm anyone, but Oldham have served up the most clean sheets in League Two this season, and Barrow have scored only four away goals all season.

Anyway...the second half is rocking and rolling.

  14. 'They gave everything'published at 18:30 BST 11 October

    FT: Stockport 1-0 Blackpool

    Blackpool

Blackpool caretaker manager Stephen Dobbie speaking to BBC Radio Lancashire:

"The character was unbelievable. Coming to a place like this, they [Stockport] are flying high, the first half an hour we had to sit in a bit and defend the box.

"I thought Ollie [Casey] and Michael [Ihiekwe] were phenomenal. Winning every header, fighting the duels.

"We managed to contain them until half-time. I thought the second-half, the boys were fantastic. They gave everything, it's just that little bit at the end we need to work on."

  15. 'The first-half deserved a goal, not the second'published at 18:27 BST 11 October

    FT: Stockport 1-0 Blackpool

    Stockport County

Stockport boss Dave Challinor speaking to BBC Radio Manchester:

"I thought we started the game really well for 35 minutes. We were in complete control, we need to be better in the moments we did create to get ourselves in front.

"It then goes a bit flat by us making some bad decisions, giving some cheap fouls away, allowing Blackpool to control the momentum of the game a little bit.

"Second-half was scrappy. We get a goal, probably deserving from the first-half performance not the second.

"We've defended alright but we are relying on luck when you don't have the control you should have in the last 10 minutes."

  17. 'We weren't good enough'published at 18:25 BST 11 October

    FT: Northampton 1-2 Rotherham

    Northampton Town

Northampton Town boss Kevin Nolan speaking to BBC Radio Northampton on the free-kick that led to Josh Benson's goal:

"It's not a free-kick. He's [Paul Tierney] a better referee than that, I was really disappointed to be honest. The linesman makes a really poor decision for Sam's goal off the corner as well.

"We work hard all week and you expect them to get [it right]. They are dead easy ones, they don't really have to move.

"Was it a soft penalty kick? Probably but you see them given all the time. But I don't want to talk about the referees, I want to talk about us and simply we weren't good enough. They just put it on us, put it behind us and created havoc."

  18. 'I've apologised quite a few times this season'published at 18:22 BST 11 October

    FT: Northampton 1-2 Rotherham

    Rotherham United

Rotherham boss Matt Hamshaw speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield:

"It's been a long time coming. We've had a lot of travelling fans come and spend their hard earned money and I've apologised quite a few times this season already.

"To score a free-kick like that in the last moments of any game, you can't get that feeling anywhere.

"I didn't think there was much in it in the first-half and then second-half we showed the character we've got in this team."

  19. Postpublished at 18:22 BST 11 October

Let's use this pause for a little reaction from our earlier games shall we.

Starting with the early kick-off which saw Rotherham come from behind to beat Northampton.

  20. 'They're living dangerously'published at 18:19 BST 11 October

    HT: Oldham 0-0 Barrow

    Adam Johnson
    BBC Radio Cumbria Sport

The first half leaves areas where Barrow do need to work.

We saw moments in the attacking areas that were good but it's just that final ball and that quality in the final third.

Defensively it's been a good marshalled performance, they're living a little bit dangerously with some of the space they're giving away.

There's certainly lots to think about for both managers.
