    The big winners of the day at the bottom are Leicester City.

    Their 3-0 hammering of Aston Villa has moved them into 10th spot and six points clear of rock bottom Crystal Palace, who lost to Manchester United in the early kick off.

    West Ham jumped up to eighth after a convincing 3-1 home win against Brighton.

    Everton remain in ninth after their late loss at Chelsea.

    FT: Leicester 3-0 Aston Villa

    Amandine Miquel emerged victorious over Natalia Arroyo in the "battle of the bottom" at King Power stadium.

    Having only scored six goals all season Leicester found a clinical edge to put Villa to the sword.

    Six points away from bottom spot and relegation looks a hefty cushion now for the Foxes.

    For Villa things look a little more precarious. Just four points separate them and Crystal Palace, with the sides due to meet in two weeks time.

    So how does the table look after this afternoon's games?

    Leaders Chelsea are seven points clear thanks to Lauren James' 93rd minute winner against Everton.

    Manchester United and Arsenal also won to maintain their spots in second and third.

    Brighton and Tottenham's defeats leave them as they were in fifth and sixth respectively.

    West Ham claim a huge three points at Victoria Road!

    Shekiera Martinez gave the hosts an early lead but Nikita Parris equalised almost immediately.

    West Ham needed Kinga Szemik to make several fantastic saves in the first half, but after half-time they punished Brighton for their sloppy play at the back. Riko Ueki slotted home after stealing possession before Viviane Asseyi converted from the penalty spot.

    West Ham move up to eighth in the table while Brighton stay fifth.

    Rehanne Skinner said her side have benefited from having an 11-day break between games, and that's certainly looked the case today.

    West Ham have been the much better side in the second half and have looked a step quicker than their opponents.

    In her press conference this week Amandine Miquel praised the young players in her squad for their ability to "see the ball and go for it", adding that the experienced players at Leicester would do well to learn from this approach.

    Well they've certainly done that today.

    Janice Cayman and Sophie Howard, two of the older heads in the lineup, have very much led from the front today, seizing the initiative and driving the side forward to a big, big win.
