  5. 'Arsenal extremely good and dictated the game'published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    FT: Arsenal 5-0 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Robert Vilahamn speaking to BBC Sport: "Overall, Arsenal were extremely good and better than us. The first 10-15 minutes were the best we had in the game and then they pushed us down and scored that goal. Then they are dictating the game.

"When we did the substitutions in the second half, we got back in the game a little bit. But then they were clinical when they got the chances as well. Fair play to them, they were really good."

On his side's defensive record: "Obviously, today, it's five goals which is tough. It was also some really good finishing as well. The concern is how we can makes sure we are better in and out of possession and compete better. We are right now having problems competing with top three teams.

"Then if you look at the goals we conceded, we need to fix how we defend our box better. We are working on it and making sure we need to get better on that. Then there are few other goals that are really amazing shots which is really hard to save. It's a mixture of how we need to be better there. But we have had much better in the last four or five in how we defend. This game wasn't like our normal games."

  16. 'Kirby has given everything'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

West Ham v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton midfielder Fran Kirby is back on the bench today having not played since picking up a calf injury while on England duty in December.

"She has put everything into her rehab, which shows her professionalism and why she has been at the level she has been at for a very long time," said Brighton boss Dario Vidosic.

Kirby last played for the Seagulls in the reverse fixture between the sides back in November, when Brighton emerged 3-2 winners at Amex stadium. The side have not won a WSL game since.

Vidosic added: "She was still displaying those top levels before her injury, she was starting to really to find form. She was a key player for us. She is a good role model for us to have back in the changing room."

West Ham v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    West Ham United

West Ham were not in FA Cup action last weekend, so have had 11 days to prepare for the Brighton game. Hammers boss Rehanne Skinner believes the break came at a good time for her side.

"We had such a heavy game period, the players have given it everything in that time," said Skinner.

"We would have obviously wanted to play in the FA Cup, but ultimately as it was, it's actually come at a time that's helped us to prepare for this week.

"It's given everybody an opportunity to have a few days to re-energise."

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    Chelsea 0-0 Everton

That was a half of football.

One real chance when Chelsea nearly bundled the ball over the line from a corner earlier, but that's it.

Apart from that the game has been, well, underwhelming.

  19. 'Today was really important for us and the fans'published at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    FT: Arsenal 5-0 Tottenham

    Arsenal

Arsenal striker Alessia Russo speaking to BBC Sport: "It was lovely, it was really nice to be back at the Emirates, we've missed it, it's been a long time. The energy is electric in there and we put on a performance that was for the fans. [There are] spells that we want to work on, but really pleased.

"I feel like it's a North London derby, when you come to Arsenal you understand the rivalry and history of this game but we want that in every game as well. Today was really important for us and the fans but we want to keep pushing and we've got a massive end to the season."

On her goal-scoring form: "There's a lot of work that we're doing in the background but it's really fun, as forwards we're getting lots of finishing and lots of stuff in training, so it's nice to see it come to fruition."

On Chloe Kelly making her second Arsenal debut: "It's really nice, since she's come in she's been great, seems like she's been in for a long time, she's just chatty Chloe that we all love. You can see her qualities on the pitch, the first day of training her standard was so high, so we're really excited to have her."

Natalia Arroyo believes her Aston Villa side will "play better" if they are able to move further away from the relegation battle in the Women's Super League.

Villa have had a disappointing first half of the season and find themselves 10th, four points clear of bottom-placed Crystal Palace.

They travel to face Leicester this afternoon, who are just one point behind in them in 11th place.

"It will be very important because you play better when you feel bigger, when you feel that you don't have a problem [in] your head and are always putting yourselves in the worst scenario," new boss Arroyo said.

"We will try to get the three points that we need to be higher in the table and to go far away from the relegation battle."
