A horrific challenge. I think Liam Roberts was keen to make a good start. He got that one really wrong.

Bournemouth and Wolves are set to meet in the FA Cup for a third time. In 1947-48 Wolves won 2-1 in the third round, while in the 1956-57 fourth round the Cherries won 1-0 at Molineux as a Third Division South side.
Wolves won 1-0 at Bournemouth in their recent Premier League meeting. They’ve not won two away games against an opponent in the same season since 2002-03 (vs Reading), while they last did so as a top-flight side in 1979-80 (against Norwich).
Bournemouth have reached the FA Cup fifth round for only the seventh time in their history, with four of those coming since they reached the top-flight for the first time in 2015. The Cherries have progressed to the quarter-final just twice, in 1956-57 against Spurs and 2020-21 against Burnley.
Wolves have won five of their last six matches in the FA Cup (L1), with one of those in last season’s fifth round against Brighton. They haven’t reached the quarter-final in consecutive seasons since doing so in 1993-94 and 1994-95.
Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison has scored in both the third and fourth round of this season’s FA Cup, while he has four goals in seven games in the competition overall.
Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has scored in each of his last three FA Cup appearances, with the last two of those coming away from home at West Brom in January 2024 and Blackburn last time out. Cunha had more shots on target than any other player across this season’s fourth round (5) and no player attempted more shots overall (8).
