Bournemouth had a plan, looked really composed on the ball and looked like they could execute at any time.

    HT: Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

Although it felt like Bournemouth were on top for the most part in the first half, the stats are pretty even.

Both sides had six shots in the game with two on target.

Wolves did, however, have a 30-minute spell without attempting a shot.

Michael: Clear and obvious, that was the mandate when VAR came in, if it takes longer than 60 seconds then it's not. There should be a 60 second timer and if no decision is made in that time, the on-field decision should stand.

Thankfully, this one is pretty straightforward.

It's good work from Bournemouth but the ball hits Alex Scott's hand before he taps home. It's pretty blatant and was thankfully seen by the referee.

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

Bournemouth have the ball in the back of the net once again but it's immediately ruled out by the referee for a handball.

    Not another one.

We got to a decision in the end and whether you disagree with it or not is up for debate.

It was still no better or quicker.

Seven minutes of time added on at the end of the half.

Wonder where they got that from.

  15. 'It's not football anymore' - both sets of fans fumepublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

I've never been in a stadium where both sets of supporters fume over a VAR check.

This is also the longest VAR check I've ever seen as we went well past the five-minute mark.

It could well have been the longest VAR check in English football history as both sets of supporters chant "it's not football anymore" and "this is embarrassing".

It seems neither set of fans were happy despite Wolves benefiting from the decision as both teams had to warm up again.

  16. 'Fans making their feelings known'published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

    Rob Green

Wow. It was offside, after all that.

It looks like a straightforward decision which was offside.

The fans are making their feelings known.

"It's not football anymore" is the chant from the terraces.

Of course, Wolves fans will be relieved that the goal has been ruled out but surely even they can agree that that was pretty silly.

Just give it as handball against Kerkez and be done with it. What a complete faff.

Any VAR check taking over 5 minutes should never overrule the on-field decision!

  19. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves

The goal has finally been ruled out for offside.

That was pretty painful. The crowd are understandably frustrated.

  20. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 2-0 Wolves

The FA's website says that semi-automated offsides should take approximately 30 seconds. As previously mentioned, it's not working. But still.

It's been way more than five minutes since the goal went in.

    A farce.
