Cunha, Cunha, what are you doing. My worries are now extending beyond this tie. We're not 100% safe from the drop and far from safe without our main man.

    Dan

Consequences for Matheus Cunha could be huge, and I’m not thinking this season. Slot had eyes on him, will he still go for such a hothead?

  2. Cunha proving a loose cannonpublished at 17:43 Greenwich Mean Time

No one doubts Wolves forward Matheus Cunha's class, but he is also proving a loose cannon.

For the second time this season, he is involved in a scuffle - whacking Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez with his arms - before kicking out at him after knocking him to the ground and giving him a little headbutt after he got up.

Of course, he was sent off for what was a moment of madness. That chaos continued after referee Sam Barrott sent him off and his own teammates and staff had to force him down the tunnel when he refused to leave the field.

Cunha has already faced a ban this season after similar scenes away at Ipswich in December.

Here's that wonderful equaliser from Matheus Cunha which has ultimately led to penalties.

What a shame his moment of madness means his side could be in a spot of bother now.

Matheus Cunha was still arguing the toss as he was forced down the tunnel by Wolves staff.

I expect that'll be a lengthy ban for the forward.

There is no doubt Plymouth have a pretty sizeable fan base and in theory are capable of being a far 'bigger' club than they are.

    The problem is location.

Getting players to relocate there is not easy. Potentially, it requires paying over the odds for players, which brings its own problems.

Luton's win today means they are now second from bottom in the Championship and facing a tough task to avoid a return to League One just two seasons after promotion.

It wasn't the campaign anticipated when they appointed Wayne Rooney as manager in May.

    Outrageous behaviour from Matheus Cunha.

He is trying to remonstrate with the fourth officials.

It will be a lengthy suspension, you can't do that.

We're into added time of extra time. Can Bournemouth make their extra man advantage count with minutes on the clock and prevent penalties?

How stupid do you have to be to needlessly get yourself sent off moments before the penalty shootout? What a fool.

Only once since 1984 has an FA Cup final not included at least one of the two Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham or Chelsea.

Four of them are already out - and Manchester City are the favourites to triumph at Wembley this time around.

If they achieve it, that would be Pep Guardiola's third success in the competition, putting him joint fifth in the all-time list, behind Arsene Wenger, George Ramsay, Sir Alex Ferguson and John Nicholson.

Guardiola makes his feelings on the tournament known in his programme notes for today's game.

"No other domestic cup competition in world football can compete with the beauty of the FA Cup," he said.

"We are delighted to be in the fifth round and we want to win the trophy, it's as simple as that."

Wolves down to 10 men and it's a significant man too.

Matheus Cunha has looked shattered for most of the extra time period but was surely being left on to take a penalty.

That is so, so, so silly from Matheus Cunha.

It begins with a shirt pull from Milos Kerkez on the Wolves forward and he just takes the bait.

He lashes out, pushing Kerkez over before kicking out when he is on the ground then it looks like a deliberate headbutt when the Cherries defender gets up.

So silly and he could have cost his side the tie here.

I think there was a kick in the head and a deliberate headbutt in there.

Matheus Cunha and Milos Kerkez are still rowing.

The Wolves man is in serious bother here. VAR are involved.

He could be in real trouble here!

There's no real effort to create a chance. The ball just keeps coming back to the defenders from the midfield whenever they have possession.

    Matheus Cunha has nothing left.

He sat down and took a drink during the last stoppage in play and is simply ambling through the last part of this match.

Wolves' star man seems to be waiting for penalties after scoring a sensational goal to draw level.

He played 90 minutes on Tuesday and will play a further 120 minutes by the end of today.
