Although Wigan have lost just one of their last 11 Football League meetings with Cambridge United (W4 D6), it was the most recent one - a 1-2 home defeat in April 2022.
Both teams have scored in seven of Cambridge United’s eight previous Football League visits to Wigan Athletic, the exception being the U’s 1-0 win in April 1991.
Charlie Wyke has netted five goals in six games for Wigan in League One this season, with only Devante Cole (6) scoring more in the division so far. All five of his goals have been scored away from home, however.
None of Cambridge’s last 12 games in League One have ended as a draw, with the U’s winning seven of those and losing on five occasions.
