    Two games took place in the Women's Super League yesterday.

    Holders Chelsea maintained their one-point lead at the top of the division as Ellie Carpenter and Sam Kerr scored in a 2-0 victory at home to London City Lionesses.

    Manchester City, meanwhile had to battle hard to beat bottom-of-the-table West Ham, with Aoba Fujino's goal sealing a sixth successive win.
