    As mentioned, this is Lee Carsley's final two games as interim England head coach.

    It was announced in October that Thomas Tuchel has been appointed as Southgate's permanent successor from 1 January 2025.

    The 51-year-old German signed an 18-month contract, becoming the third non-British permanent manager of the England men's national team after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
