It's been as easy as it gets for third-tier Rugby here.

They already have one foot in the next round of the Women's FA Cup, thanks to goals from Nicola Potts, Ebony Wiseman, Mai Moncaster and Angelina Nixon.

The hosts will need a much-improved display after the restart to avoid a thumping here.

  4. Charlton Athletic targeting 'FA Cup upset' against Chelseapublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time

Chelsea v Charlton Athletic (15:00 GMT)

Charlton Athletic have endured a challenging first half to the season. After missing out on promotion to the WSL by a single point in 2023-24, they currently find themselves eighth in the Championship table and with just one win - a 4-0 victory over Lewes in the FA Cup third round - in their past 12 matches.

However, despite their poor form, defender Charlotte Newsham said her side are targeting an "FA Cup upset" against high-flying Chelsea.

The Blues are unbeaten in 16 matches in all competitions since Sonia Bompastor replaced Emma Hayes as head coach in July.

"If you're going to get a big team, you may as well go as big as you can get," said Newsham, speaking to BBC Radio London.

"It's the FA Cup and you want to play different teams to the ones you play every week. Chelsea is a big team but we've just got to go out there and cause an FA Cup upset if we can.

"The team's come on leaps and bounds and these are the teams you'd be playing in the WSL if you did get promoted. It's an exciting game for us."

Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor emphasised the importance of maintaining momentum in their pursuit of silverware as they begin their FA Cup campaign.

For Chelsea, the FA Cup is not just another competition - it’s a prized target.

"We know how big the FA Cup is in England," Bompastor said. "It’s a trophy to win.

"I’ve heard a lot of good and positive things about the FA Cup in England. We feel ready for the game on Sunday. Ready to face an opposition who are prepared to give us a tough game. Charlton have good physicality."

The Blues will face a Charlton side determined to test their spirit, but Bompastor is confident her team is prepared.

"Cup games always demand a different mentality, and we’re ready to rise to the challenge," added Bompastor.

  20. What happens if a tie is level at full-time?published at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    Good question.

There's no replays in the Women's FA Cup.

Now we're in the fourth round we go to extra time - in the usual 30-minute, with two 15-minute halves, format.

If a tie is still level then we go to penalties.

Up to and including the second round ties just go straight to penalties.
