Rugby Borough entered the Women's FA Cup in the first round where they overcame Lincoln City 7-0, as Angela Nixon bagged a swift hat-trick in 5 minutes and 36 seconds.

They scored seven again in the second round as they beat visitors Peterborough United 7-1 while Mancunian Unity were dispatched 3-0 to book a fourth-round clash with London Bees.

"The Bees play good football and they've had a strong season themselves and we know we will have to perform well to progress into the next round,” Rugby head coach Lee Burch said.

Rugby have scored eight goals against the Bees without reply in their two most recent meetings as they did the double over them in last season's Women's National League Premier Division.

I think when you see Rofiat Imuran get the ball you can see what she wants to do.

Fourth-tier London Bees have not had the best of build-ups to their Women's FA Cup tie against Rugby Borough after their 12-game unbeaten run was snapped by a 2-1 defeat by Chatham Town last week.

Dan McKimm's side began their cup campaign with a 6-0 win against Steyning Town Community in the third round of qualifiers before a 2-0 defeat of Farnham Town in the first round proper.

A hard-fought 3-2 victory against Chatham sent them through to face QPR, who they beat 6-3 after extra-time to book a place in the fourth round.

The Bees, who were in the Championship up until the end of the 2020-21 season, will eye a return to winning ways when they face Rugby Borough, who sit a division above them.

    Great strike!

Rofiat Imuran takes aim from about 30 yards and a swerving effort crashes back off the post.

Amber Webber in the Fulham goal just stood there and admired the strike. She was helpless.

We're into seven minutes of added time at Craven Cottage.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Man City 1-0 Ipswich

The half-time whistle goes at the end of a pretty forgettable first 45 minutes.

That is credit to Ipswich, who have defended stoutly for the most part to restrict Manchester City to very few chances.

The visitors have offered next to nothing going forward so far and it'll be interesting to see if their approach changes after the break.

For now, Jill Roord's strike is the difference between the sides.

    Man City 1-0 Ipswich

With a little under two minutes left in the first half, Manchester City pass the ball around at the back and the camera very briefly shows home goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita.

I'm pretty sure that is the first time the ball has been close enough to the City goal for Yamashita to be shown on camera.

Lily Murphy jinks her way into the penalty area again before curling a left-foot shot just over the bar.

Manchester City are pushing for a second but clear-cut chances are still proving difficult to come by.

It's important for the Fulham players to get this exposure against London City.

It's a bit of a shop window opportunity for players to show what they can do against better opposition.

  17. Postpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

Brilliant turn from Chloe Kelly to completely wrong-foot two Ipswich defenders and burst into the penalty area.

She can't pick out a blue shirt with the cutback though and the visitors clear their lines.

More encouraging signs from Manchester City's 18-year-old winger Lily Murphy.

    Goal kick.
