    Qarabag 1-1 Chelsea

    Chelsea need to steady themselves.

That was a poor goal to concede and Enzo Maresca, hands in pockets, doesn't look best pleased.

The home side have been forced into a change because of an injury.

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

That is some finish by the way. I was thinking how is he going to squeeze this in?

You can hear more from Warnock on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  4. 'A terrific finish from Andrade'published at 18:17 GMT 5 November

    Qarabag 1-1 Chelsea

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is very good from Qarabag's point of view.

Camilo Duran wins the ball back from Jorrel Hato, he has a stepover and cuts inside Tosin Adarabioyo.

It then fell brilliantly into the path of Leandro Andrade.

    A terrific finish from Andrade.

Chelsea were in a nice moment. They were keeping possession and Qarabag weren't looking dangerous, but it is sloppy play and a lapse in concentration from Jorrel Hato.

The roof is off is Baku!

The European minnows are back in it as Qarabag exploit Chelsea's defence.

A terrific run by Camilo Durán ends with his attempt coming back off the post and Leandro Andrade is quickest to pounce.

    Chelsea are stunned.

  6. 'Gittens likes to slow defenders down'published at 18:13 GMT 5 November

    Qarabag 0-1 Chelsea

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea had two players both at the back post, but Jamie Gittens likes to slow defenders down and then with a stepover create his own space. There's a bit of learning to be done when to execute the shot or cross.

Estevao Willian (18 years and 195 days) is the third-youngest player in Champions League history to score in each of his first two starts in the competition behind Ethan Nwaneri (17 years and 348 days) and Kylian Mbappe (18 years and 85 days).

Chelsea look dangerous each time they cross the halfway line.

A lovely run by Jamie Gittens as he drives into the box and unselfishly squares it to Tyrique George but the teenager gets his feet in a tangle and the chance is gone.

  9. 'Cucurella did his job'published at 18:10 GMT 5 November

Qarabag caught Chelsea flat with that through ball. Marc Cucurella did his job and got back into position.

    Excellent defending.

Shows you what confidence can do… Gittens in the same position, plays the ball inside to Pedro. Whilst Estevao takes his man on and scores.

No doubt losing Roméo Lavia to injury so early was a blow but Chelsea have responded in a positive way and Enzo Maresca will be delighted with how the opening 20 minutes have gone.

For a moment I thought the opportunity had gone. Andrey Santos gets them into a good position and I thought he played it behind Estevao.

Once Estevao took a touch, two Qarabag players went over to him, but he took a touch, chopped with his left and then whipped it hard and low.

This young man has got talent. In these situations he often gives you an end product.

    The boy from Brazil!

A reminder that Estevao Willian is 18 but is playing with all the confidence of a seasoned pro.

Clever work from Estevao who creates space for himself inside the box before beating the goalkeeper at his near post with a low shot.

Perfect start by Enzo Maresca's side.

Jorrel Hato has got very lucky here.

Tosin Adarabioyo goes up the pitch, and Hato goes across to cover in the right centre-back position.

Camilo Duran seemed to get away from him.

One concern while sat here inside the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium is that there are more people in this ground than seats.

One individual also managed to sneak into the press box without a proper pass, which highlights what a hot ticket this Chelsea match is in Azerbaijan.

Not a Chelsea fan but Lavia is a talent who we've not been able to see much. Its tragic to see someone so young experience that many setbacks. I hope it's a precaution and he's alright.

  20. 'A difficult chance'published at 17:59 GMT 5 November

    Qarabag 0-0 Chelsea

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

From the angle Andrey Santos was at, he had to hit that with his left foot.

Tyrique George gets on the outside and pulls it back, but Santos is not inside the goal frame and it was a difficult chance.
