Birmingham City have won just one of their last five league games against Huddersfield Town (D2 L2), a 2-1 home win last season.
Although they lost 2-1 away at Birmingham last season, Huddersfield haven’t lost consecutive league games there since November 2000, with the last six meetings hosted by the Blues alternating between a win for each side.
Birmingham are looking to avoid defeat in each of their opening five home games of a league season for only a second time in the last decade, previously doing so in 2018-19 (first 10).
Huddersfield are unbeaten in three away league games (W1 D2), last going four without defeat on the road in March 2022 (9).
Huddersfield have lost just one of their last nine midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) league games (W3 D5), a 0-3 defeat at Stoke in February last season.
