Ryan Hill scored twice as Aldershot registered their first National League win of the season in style by beating Solihull Moors 5-1.

Solihull defender Tyler French's shot struck the crossbar before the Shots scored twice in four minutes to take control before half-time.

Hill cut inside the box and fired into the bottom corner and Abrahams' neat finish made it 2-0 following a swift counter-attack.

Solihull reduced the deficit through Szhem Whyte-Hall soon after the restart.

But Hill converted his second from the penalty spot and Kwame Thomas forced home the Shots' fourth after Abrahams' effort had struck the crossbar, before Jed Meerholz added a fifth in the 87th minute.
