    Brighton 0-1 Aston Villa

Into the final 20 minutes or so and Brighton seem to be heading for a fifth home league defeat on the bounce.

Not the ending to the campaign they would have hoped for, particularly Mikey Harris, who has lost all three of his home games so far since taking interim charge.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:32 British Summer Time 4 May

    Almost a second for Villa.

Ebony Salmon drives into the left hand side of the box before sliding a wicked low cross through the six yard box.

Rachel Daly is unable to get on the end of it and Brighton keeper Melina Loeck gets enough of a contact on the balll to push it wide of the target.

It would have been understandable if Friday's shock news of Carla Ward's departure at the end of the season had impacted the mindset of this Villa team but they are doing their upmost to give her a good send off here.

Substitute Adriana Leon almost makes an instant impact, with her low shot from the right hand side drifting just wide of the target.

    Everton 2-2 Tottenham

It ends honours even at Walton Hall Park.

Chances for both sides but Tottenham may feel the more disappointed of the two sides at not getting the three points after having so many chances in that second half. A point does guarantee a top half finish though.

Another inspired performance from Courtney Brosnan earns Everton a point in their final home game of the season.

    Great defending from Elise Stenevik.
